Agreed. Chatpad is way easier than the on-screen keyboard, but having to destroy the sign with all of your work on it is a hassle.

I agree! I also think when your playing split screen you should be able to type it on your side of the screen.
you know what im say? I just think its annoying when my friend wants to type something and it
takes up the WHOLE screen. I don't know if its possible to fix this but if it is then I hope
they fix it.

Yes it is. Thank you for noticing! The only problem is that right now we can place signs on other signs. I would not want to lose that ability, since the button used to place a sign right now is the same one to enter the text. We would need a different input to edit an existing sign.

Ive though of this a thousand times, good thing somebody posted it. Hopefully somebody from Mojang will see this post. It already is hard typing signs with the XBox but if you mess up you have to redo everything

Yeah that's why I made this thread, cause.. there was a couple of times where I filled an entire sign with text just to find out I spelled two words wrong with one letter off each. It's annoying to retype all this stuff so often.

They are? Thank goodness. Where did you hear that from? On the wiki, it doesn't say anything on the page "Xbox 360 upcoming features".

Instead of bringing up the Xbox typing menu, Minecraft should have its own typing menu for signs; this way it would be more quick

Just gonna say, I support this... Nothing further to add to it.
