I cant be the only one who wants to see a little more game customization options. I'm sure it's been or being considered, but here at the things I think MCXbox needs as soon as possible.
Field of View (FOV) slider - who doesnt want to play around with this? It'd be nice to play from a different perspective.
More volume settings - Thunderstorms are the worst, and ambient cave sounds can be surprisingly scary. Having the option to lower or even remove certain sound FX would be great.
More visual settings - Render distance/fog and a smooth lighting slider, to be precise. All are simply more ways to tailor the MC experiance to your liking. Fog makes cave exploration more exciting, and smooth lighting being turned off can give it that ol' "Minecraft Alpha" feel.
That's what I'd like to see, if not in TU14, then later updates.
I think this is considered a wish list and I don't think those are allowed.
Some good ideas but I still don't think you can make a list of suggestions.
It is all under the topic of options though, I don't know. Well see.
I don't see this as a wish list since they're all related to the theme of "options/customization."
FOV--Yes. I play with +80 on the PC.
Volumes--They're fine. The Nether music needs to be quieter while the End needs to be louder, along with ambience.
Render distance--I guess. I never had too much of a problem with distance lag unless a server was capped.
Smooth Lighting--Wouldn't care either way. It would definitely take me back to when I first started, but it wouldn't be necessary.
The only thing on that that I even remotely like the Volume, as I wouldn't mind changing individual sounds for parts of the game.
Animal sounds down
Hostile mob sounds medium
Music max
ambience max
General sounds at least half or bleow (doors, chests, etc...)
So I can modify what I hear and how I hear it. I can see myself messing around with this.
FOV I just don't use, I always have on default/normal.
Render distance at the moment is fine, as what would be the point to see farther, when the maps aren't that big to begin with. Maybe on the xbox one but at the moment not really a point to this one.
Fog would be ok, but I wonder how that would work since things actually load differently on the xbox. The only fog we do have we can turn it on and off. Bedrock fog. I have an rough idea how to put something like this in though, just not really sure of the mechanics behind it. ><
Lighting I don't really see a point to either. would be ok to have but like the person above me said it is not really necessary...
Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
My First World, always getting back to is a pleasure I enjoy with each new update that brings in more things to add in.

Oh, here I just made a thread about the volume and I didn't even see this one.
I definitely agree with the volumes for sure, because mobs annoy me. They're too loud, and they never shut up. So they really get on my nerves.
And it's not fair because mob sounds, and every other sound aside from music are controlled by the same thing.
So because of that I often play with no sound whatsoever because the music is the same song that just constantly loops so I don't have music on at all almost.

I don't see them giving us an option to change the render distance since they have been using shortening the render distance as a means of reducing/controlling lag as new elements have been added to the game. The introduction of fog in the nether appears to be a means of disguising the shortened render distance in the nether (where players were lagging frequently before TU12). On the PC, it's an option because some PCs can handle a longer render distance without lag better than others, depending on their RAM and power. The Xbox 360 specs are all the same. If they do eventually put in the option, I suspect it will appear only on the Xbox One and PS4 and not on the Xbox 360 and PS3 and Vita.
(NOTE: The bedrock fog is a layer mask (you can tell by the little floating particles in it) so it can be turned on an off. I'm not sure the new nether fog is the same sort of thing.

/Support though
If a mod wants to move or merge it to wherever it should go, that'd be swell.

I am mainly a Call of Duty/Borderlands player a pushing the Left thumb stick works for me as a posed to pushing the left stick up twice.
Would just make it easier for me I suppose.
