If you look out your window(real life) do you see scratch marks on it that are big enough to prevent you from actually seeing out the window. Even if it was the "shine" of the glass(in minecraft) I dont have that much of a shine on my window that it wont allow me to see out of it. 4J Studios please chaange the texture of glass, keep the border of it but get rid of the scratches. or make a default texture pack except change the glass please. Does anyone else out there agree?
The textures in the Xbox are pretty much what Mojang sets them to be for whatever PC version we're at. Basically, it's Mojang's artwork. I don't think 4J have the authority to change it inside the default texture set. There will, however, probably be a texture pack with this feature introduced at some point in the future, but then you'll probably have to use the whole texture pack... It sounds like the ability to use resource packs along with the vanilla textures was only introduced on the PC in Version 1.6. We're currently only at 1.2.3.

i have played minecraft for over a year now and im still not use to it. it bothers me. stairs and slabs dont fix the problem because i actually want a window to see out of
Not long ago, I suggested this thing called refined glass. It is a blast proof harder version of glass that doesn't have scratches and you can place redstone and whatnot on it. I will settle at that.

Or if they had less "lines" and other things on it so we could see through it better.. then I'd be okay with it.But I've also wanted to have just invisible blocks as well.
I am okay with only the panes changed, but I would like to have the glass block itself like it is right now. Glass panes would be better without the center scratches or whatever they are
However, I like the glass texture. Its good for like domes, or glass structures
Glass domes, in my opinion, looks so ugly, with the current texture of glass
Also, in my opinion, it would look so much better with clear glass.
