Do you ever think that this one block boats weren't enough? Because i always had. My idea is a block that you place on a custom made ship such as one like a pirate ship just instead of making it with a crafting table you would just place blocks in the water that dont connect to the mainland. The control block would recognize the blocks connected to it and would allow . But if you built a dock you cant have a block connecting the ship and the dock or else the dock will be added to the ship. The ship would be controlled by the four arrows on your controller. This would be an awesome way to travel and show off to other players. It can also be as inexpensive as you want.

it would be better if it was a 30 block long by 15 block wide with captains quarters below deck sails and a crows nest with a masthead with a name that floats over it. you can sit in the drivers seat and steer while other people walk around. crafted like this

Wouldn't it be hard to code?

I dont know. There is a mod for this and thats how i got the idea. And my xbox has more memory than my computer so it would probably load.

I think it'd be cool if you could create something and it would move on it's own. Like with redstone and stuff. So with your idea, a boat!

to much lag if 8 people had boats the fps would drop to like 1
