Like many others I am partial to my pre TU12 survival world & have invested a lot of time in it but I would love to have jungle trees! Since Jungle trees can drop oak saplings would it be fair to ask for the occasional Jungle tree sapling dropped from an Oak tree?
Jungle trees don't drop oak saplings, but what phoenix said is possible at this time.
Jungles are a mix of oak and jungle wood trees. So it does get confusing where each came from. There are oak leaves in the jungles, especially the jungle floor.

My First World, always getting back to is a pleasure I enjoy with each new update that brings in more things to add in.
Okay, so we have Jungle trees that grow Oak leaves & Oak trees that grow apples. The request still remains the same. Can we get a chance of having any tree drop a Jungle tree sapling since that is the only thing that didn't transfer to many pre TU12 worlds?
Well the ground ones generate like that. the actual trees are a mix of oak and jungle. It is just the leaves intermingle with each other in the canopy. This only happens in the initial generation though.
The idea how I am only 50-50 on, since it is difficult enough to get jungle saplings as is the normal way, but once farming the 2x2 you can get plenty. However if it only happens in a jungle biome that your idea takes place, then this might be acceptable in my opinion. I would think the change would be lower than jungle trees, since you have to consider oak drops 2 different items as is. hmmm..

Yes. And let's have cows drop apples instead. And skeletons drop diamonds. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. Oak leaves will drop oak leaves because they are oak saplings. I think this is dumb. But after reading Tamorr's response I would agree with it only if it were in an actual jungle, 'cause getting jungle saplings are a b to get.
