Hey guys, I am a new user here. Today, I am (making my first forum/post) telling you what I think should be added to Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition. Stuff that I list that is not already in the PC version, I think should be implanted into that version also.
Mobs:
* I don't see why different-robed Villagers can't be implanted. Though they don't serve much of a difference, it would be a great help for new players to find each building in Villages. * Any other unimplanted mob (Witches, Wither Skeletons, Horses, Bats, The Wither) should be added * Villager noises would be okay. (ex: when you attack a Villager, they make the old grunting noise the player made when taking fall damage or burning damage) * Drops for Villagers, Wolves, and Ocelots * Fish mobs (viewable from above water, but when caught while fishing they are just an obtainable item) * Desert biome mob (all other biomes have mobs that spawn naturally in them, but not the desert biome) * Miner mobs (Villager-looking mobs that wield pickaxes and mine in the mineshafts and don't bother the player) * A boss for The Nether (possibly implant The Wither to be a Nether-exclusive boss)
World creation:
* More biomes (Clay, Redwood forest, etc.) * Another dimension (possibly the unimplanted Sky biome)
Gaming features:
* Capture the Flag game mode (would be great) * Adventure mode (one-life only, no creative mode) * Customizable skins (using a flash drive or a new Minecraft Xbox 360 application in the XBLA) * More mash-up/texture packs (possibly a Call of Duty one) * Mods (available through non-hacking)
Is there anything else you think should be implanted?
What came in the PC in updates subsequent to Version 1.2.3 will probably come to the Xbox in future updates for us (as much as possible given the limitations of the system itself). For the most part, work began on the Xbox with the most current PC version at the time. It took about a year's worth of work, however, to get the Xbox to the point of it's initial release... which means that the Xbox edition was released a year behind the PC and continues to be updated in sequence and remains just a little more than a year behind the PC. If you compare the version histories between the two games, you will find that there is very little from the PC version that has not been put onto the Xbox edition when the time has come for those updates in the sequence. Hardcore mode (one life) is one, however, that was intentionally not implemented since it is simple enough for players to make their own rule for a particular world about dying only once.
As for the rest of your list, the mods here have asked that people not post extensive wish lists, but rather limit the threads to single suggestions so that the community can have an easier time discussing the merits of each unique suggestion.
*Sigh* We have a set of rules for a reason. They're not to look pretty--they're to prevent people like you from annoying us. You should check them out after this topic is locked.
