I want a skyrim mash up pack like iron golems are
Giants and cows are horses and swords are screams or
Something it would be sweet
swords are screams? im pretty sure skyrim has swords. and cows are horses? why not have cows be cows and wiat for horses. and btw they are called shouts not screams.btw fus ro dah
Does MC need a skyrim mash? I see plenty of builds that look skyrimish. IMO that's why we got a futuristic mash up. It's just so easy to build primitively. If they let the enddragon fly on the topside you'd essentially have skyrim.
I for one would love a Skyrim Mash Up Pack. The textures would be a little darker and grittier than they are now.
Not to mention the single best reason to have such a pack, the music. Imagine walking around you world with this going..

Or fighting the EnderDragon and having these play...

Maybe having this playing when you go into the Nether...

Agreed. Skyrim really fits the Minecraft style. The only thing is that last song (love it by the way) should be in the End, since the End is somewhat comparable to Sovngarde (you activate a portal to travel to another dimension relatively late in the game and defeat a giant black dragon). Maybe the dragon music would either be one of the songs that plays there, or it would play the dragon music before you kill the dragon and the Sovngarde music afterwards.
im not against a skyrim mash-up. it would be somewhat like daku, i believe that is the medieval one from pc, cant remember . but yea itd be darker and grittier and yea have epic music. i just dont think the OP is the person to present an idea like that. not even knowing what a core element of the game is called, thats pretty bad. and suggesting a vocal magic based in dragon language should replace a physical weapon, absurd.
Skyrim would be epic.. It fits much more than Mass effect.
'nuff said;)
the whole point with mass effect was that it didnt fit. they showed just how much mash-ups could change the game and opend up a whole new set of builds that otherwise would have looked terrible. they showed a full contrast to what the games been since the beginning where as skyrim would of just looked like more of the same.
a Skyrim mash up pack would be awesome, if done right. diamond tools become Ebony, iron tools become Elvin, gold tools become dwemer. and the skin possibilities... Lydia, Ulfric, Ralof, or maybe even Aela. and I love the music of Skyrim, I annoy the hell out of my old lady when playing it because I have it turned up. the only thing that I think would be difficult would be mob skins. maybe Skeletons as Forsworn, Zombies as Vampires, creepers as Giants. but the rest I guess would pretty much remain the same. maybe Skyrim themed clothing for the villiagers.
I really hope this would happen. I would then have my 2 favorite games in one.

Good point. From the that point of view I can agree that going in a sci-fi direction makes much more sense. I guess my statement kind of illustrates my mixed feelings about the Mass Effect mash up. One day I'm loving it, another I'm like blah.. It definitely has it's place, and shows the possibilities.
I think if there is a Skyrim mash up it'll be interesting to see what they do to make it unique, and not just a different set of armor and new music.
After having so much fun with the Mass Effect mash up, I'm anticipating enjoying whatever games they want to try to make in mashup packs. Really, at $3.99, I honestly spend almost as much each day (more in some places), on a latte or cappuchino... and I get to enjoy this for a longer amount of time. If Skyrim is what everyone wants next and 4J can swing getting permission to use their stuff... I'm great witht that. MG - The music is pretty awesome alright!

just my $0.02 worth.
For skins: one of every skyrim race (Nord, Dunmer, Bosmer, Imperial, etc.)
For weapons: Diamond would definitely be Daedric. Iron could become steel, stone becomes iron, I agree with the gold and dwarven.
For mob skins: They don't really have to change much (there's skeletons in Skyrim already), just give the zombies a draugr skin and the spiders a Frostbite spider skin.
Yeah and maybe this time they could add some actual weapons from the game not a retextured version of our current weapons. Already a big mistake why they didn't do that for the mass effect one.

Because it's essentially adding a texture pack, and they don't add new stuff. A Mash-up Pack is designed to make Minecraft look like another game, not have the same gameplay.

yea, it has some great potential. and makes me enthusiastic about what they will do with future mash-ups

skins definetly on point. i mean they give you 36 with a mash up so they could do more than just the races as well.
weapons. im thinking diamond = elf. iron = steel. stone =orcish. and yea gold dwarven that ones hard to argue over. its to perfect
remember guys they dont re texture mobs with mash-up packs.

you mean they should add swords and bows just like skyrim has.... oh wait minecraft already has those
I think we should make a deal: Skyrim shouldn't try to be MC, and MC shouldn't try to be Skyrim.
Big fail either way.
Skyrim already tried to be minecraft with Hearthfire... It was actually not so bad, I love making a huge house on my lake view with my family and pet Husky from the Dawnguard DLC... But I don't think MC will ever try to be Skyrim with just how it looks...

Religion, has actually convinced people, that there's an invisible man, living in the sky, who watches everything you do every minute of the day, and the invisible man has a special list. Of 10 things he doesn't want you to do. And if you do ANY of these ten things he has a special place, full of fire, and smoke, and burning, and torture, and will send you there to suffer and choke and scream for all of eternity... But he still loves you.

actually, after thinking about it a little more. the tools should be ranked the same as they are in both games. Minecraft has Diamond, Iron, Gold, Stone, & wood. Skyrim has a few more but pretty much similarly ranked from Dragon bone to iron. since it isn't reasonable to "Mine" Dragon Bone, Ebony or Daedric would be the top slot holder to match Diamond. then Glass or Elvin for Iron, Dwemer for gold, Orcish for Iron, and probably steel for wood.
but this is all speculation. as much as I would like to see this, I wont try holding my breath until there is some official word from 4J.

On Topic: Skyrim was the single most asked for Mash-Up pack according to 4J. I'm sure they're already talking to Zenimax and Bethesda.
Big fail either way.
