I could see that.
I could see Gorillas.
Basically they'd be a black version of an Iron Golom. But you don't need to make them they just are already there.
Why? because its a Jungle
Health? heck if I know.. I don't know what anythings health is other then my own.. i swing a sword as many times as needed and kill
Spawn conditions? in jungle biomes only
Drops? wool, leather..bananas
Attack (if any)? maybe they throw things at you from up in the trees.. rocks i guess
Behaviour with players/mobs? avoid player unless player has banana which can be used to tame
Why should this be unique to the 360? doesn't have to be.. just thought it was a cool idea.. if it happened i'm sure someone would mod it for pc anyways if it hasn't been done already
How to get bananas? axe out of tree in jungle.. shot down with bow and arrow?
Rare? Average amount but may be scarce in heavy monkey populated area from them eating them
Food restored? Bananas are a fruit that so their good for you.. I'd say 1.5
Saturation? not sure what you mean by this
Why do we need another food? variety.. cause we can.. cause it would fit well with monkeys
Please put a little more time into an idea before throwing it out there to the public, thank you.
There are your answers.. hope that helps
it was just an idea.. I'm ok with other people making suggestions towards it. I don't sit here and try to think of every answer to every question people will have asking why this and why that. I get ideas and just throw them out there for people to talk about. Maybe instead of asking all these questions just put your own ideas that coincide with it. Collaborate on things as a community instead of just saying people don't explain enough and won't support the idea. I try to look at things in a positive manner..guess I shouldn't always expect the same.

If you want something, you have to work for it.
When making a suggestion its important to list these things
or no one will find the suggestion interesting or understand anything
about it in that matter
I told you it was a decent idea, I Just didn't support it due to the lack
of information and work you put towards the suggestion. I can easily change my
"No Support" into a "Support" with a little persuading. If you wanted us to post our
ideas in the suggestion, you should have noted. I too have some ideas for this
suggestion.

You didn't state anything about us discussing our own
ideas upon the suggestion, Although common sense should
have kicked in I guess...

With MC being a game of creative ideas I guess I just assumed people would throw in their ideas on the subject. Guess I just assumed that would be common sense. Curious now as to your ideas on the suggestion. Care to share?
Just a few ideas off the top of my head
-------
Wild Health Points : 10 Hearts (Wild just means not tamed)
Tamed Health Points : 14 Hearts
Wild Attack Strength : 2 Hearts
Tamed Attack Strength : 3 Hearts
Drops : None Monkey
Monkeys will spawn In jungle biomes on top of jungle trees.
Monkeys spawn in groups and come in 2 different sizes, Adult and child.
A Monkey will always spawn in 2 pairs with either 1 Adult and a Child or 2 Adults.
Monkeys can be tamed by Either Watermelon or Bananas ( Hopefully Bananas in the future)
When an untamed monkey is attack, it then becomes hostile.
+ Tameable (Since we don't have bananas, I suggest watermelons as to tame them)
+ can only spawn in trees
+ can climb vines
+ Mob type would be Neutral
+ You can only breed 2 adults once and must find another
monkey if wanted to breed again.
+ cannot regain HP, Fed or not.
I'm sorry...I really didn't think any of this through.
It was kind of sudden.

This is good info. Though no drops? Not sure if there is a creature in the game that has no drops yet.
Also curious on the cannot regain HP idea.
I like the idea of the untamed monkey going hostile if attacked. Maybe also they work with a pack mentality like the pigmen and others will attack you also as long as you are in the jungle? Once fleeing out of the jungle they will stop chasing after you. Or if they chase you and stop at the edge of the jungle biome? Just building on your idea.
Far as not understanding?
If that's what you mean, It simply stands for
not able to regain HP when harmed. Fed or not.
Maybe unless splash potion usage I don't know...

I like the sound of this but stopping at the edge of the jungle
would be to sensitive . Although, I get the idea and it doesn't sound
too bad to me.

I understand the concept of not regaining HP just curious as to why. Would think with a tamed monkey/gorilla feeding a banana would.

What if their movement was limited to the edge of the jungle but they could still throw rocks or whatever at you so you can't just stop outside of the biome? Once out of range they would head back in the jungle.
Monkeys should throw cocoa beans at you, that way you won't have to climb those high jungle trees for cocoa, and it would look like they are throwing poo at you.

That would be funny
