Goats would be cool:D It would give us an alternative to cows for milk and maybe cheese? Plus they could ram you being the only passive animal:P Could also get fur from it and goat meat;)

A mimic. It would spawn as any two random blocks, one on top of the other. When you go into his block range he would transform into you. It would have what wepon you have out and amor you have on. For exampel if you had a diamond sword and iron armor that is what it would have.

I think something like a Fire Golem or a lava snake would be nice, something that can traverse lava, or maybe even only spawns in it, so you have to use potions of fire resistance to even get down to it. It would only surface after you disturb it. This wouldn't necessarily make it a Nether-exclusive mob either, since lava appears naturally in the Over-world as well. Maybe you could even spawn them yourself somehow, like after you drink your potion of fire resistance, go down to the bottom of a lava pool and place certain blocks in a certain configuration. We already have snow and iron golems, a few more would be cool (as long as they aren't too crazy, or we don't get a golem for every single block...). For some reason I really like the idea of having some mobs that only spawn in deep oceans or lava.
A flying mob in the Over-world could be interesting too. I'm not sure what could be used though...hawks? I don't know how that would turn out.
Another thing I think would be interesting is a mob that can somehow lower light levels, even if there's a torch or something. That might get annoying though...and I don't want anything too crazy or wild.
spawn eggs.......lol i really like the idea though it sounds awesome i would love to have lava born mobs excpecially the fire golem

sasquatches, they'd be rare, neutral mobs that live in forests, and only attack if you build your house too near their caves, attack them, or in stressful situations, (thunderstorms, attacked by zombies, etc)

Birds, they drop bird meat (Heals the same as chicken), they also drop feathers, they eat seeds/wheat, so maybe a item like a scarecrow or something could help with that problem.. you can lure them with seeds and attack them with a sword, it is a 1-Hit kill to kill them with any sword, same with a bow but.. it would be pretty hard to shoot them out of the sky, they would add a new way to get feathers because my house is in a swamp biome and i havent found a chicken there EVER.. they also would make bird sounds.

Haha fair enough I didn't think about that, but then again a lot of "quiet" animals can make noise when scared or in pain. I wouldn't want anyone/anything hurting the cute fluffy rabbits anyway so they would still be noiseless under ideal circumstances lol.

Pretty sure I had already posted but I dont see it so I guess i didnt. I would add soldiers. Craftable by 6 diamonds, Nether wart, Golden apple and 1 diamond sword. Despite its expensiveness it would be able to defend the player with a diamond sword and gold armour, having health 1.5 times the player in diamond armour. It would be able to kill creepers unlike wolves and stand guard. It would look like a person.I would also add bears . Polar bears in tundra biomes and taigas. They would have lots of health and a 6 heart attack. They could be tamed into grizzly bears, random, but you wouldnt have a polar bear in a mountain biome or plains biome. Tameable by leader or rotten flesh, but e tremely vulnerable if they fall.
