Sup all, just thought I'd throw my hat in for Redstone jukeboxes. It annoys me to no end that I can't play discs on a loop for when I need constant ambient music and I figure being able to power them at will would alleviate the issue.
I don't know a lot about what is available in the PC version, do they have powered jukeboxes?

good idea. Also.. I wouldn't mind if you could hear the disc from further away as well. It's like you play the disc and it becomes non existent when you go out your door sometimes.
I suggested this a while back in the "Small Suggestions" thread. I'd love to see redstone powered jukeboxes. I don't care much for some of the tunes, but it would really help automate the Dancehall I plan on building (just waiting for those RS lamps).
The thing is they'd have to change jukeboxes to transparent blocks so they don't interfere with any redstone or devices near them. It'd be supercool to just have a row of 12 jukebox, each with a different disc, and select a song with just a push of a button.

They already increased the distance not too long ago. It used to be 16 blocks before the song completely cut off. Now its somewhere around 45 or so (I don't really know. I'm just guessing at this point).
