I would love for deere to be added to the game! I think it would be so fun to set up a tree stand and bow hunt!. I am a bow hunter my self and I feel like this would add something that I and others.love to.the game! I would like to here what you guys would like to have in the future.
Also this will most likely be lock as I think this is considered a wishlist...

As far as this suggestion goes, I love it! I never really thought about it, but I feel deer would fit into the Minecraft universe quite well. Great idea!

This would be a great addition to the game! Deer are very abundant here in Pennsylvania and it would be great to see them in real life and in my favorite game. Maybe the creators could make deer scared of humans, so killing them would be a challenge and call for some hunting tactics as you mentioned.

Deer are generally abundant everywhere on the East/West Coast of US.
Religion, has actually convinced people, that there's an invisible man, living in the sky, who watches everything you do every minute of the day, and the invisible man has a special list. Of 10 things he doesn't want you to do. And if you do ANY of these ten things he has a special place, full of fire, and smoke, and burning, and torture, and will send you there to suffer and choke and scream for all of eternity... But he still loves you.
Some mods contain deer, and horses were added in colaboration with Dr. Zhark of MoCreatures fame, so it's not inconcievable that more mod elements could be added. I'd have to say though, if they did add these, I hope they would use a different mod for them. Nothing against MoCreatures, it does horses and other animals very well indeed, but deer are not one of that mod's strong points.
If deer were added, I hope the model and animation would be used from the Twilight Forest mod (by, uh...Benimatic I think?) I don't use that mod myself as I'm not keen on some of it's features, but I have seen it played, and the models and animation on the deer in that are just beautiful. They look graceful and majestic as they should, while still fitting in perfectly with MC's blocky theme.
