I would love to have more trees and more colored wooden planks so I would like if you would look at what iwould like to see implemented into minecraft.
Red Maple Trees
Cherry Trees
Redwood Trees
Giant Oak Trees
Cypress Trees
Cedar Trees
Cocoa Trees (Smaller versions of jungle trees)
Banana Trees (1 in a 200 chance of dropping a Banana)
Orange Tree (1 in a 200 chance of dropping a Orange)
Peach Tree (1 in a 200 chance of dropping a Peach)
Lemon Tree (1 in a 200 chance of dropping a Lemon)
And many more. I would love to see these implemented along with new colored planks for each. What do you think about these ideas and what would you like to see added?
I like the ideal of having fruit trees and the Red Maple Tree could be use to make Red Maple Syrup, I could do without the cherry and cedar trees. The Giant Oak Tree would be nice,Redwood Maple Trees would add a new color of leaves beside green and Redwood could come from the Red Maple Tree. The only thing I don't like about this, are the trees dropping the fruit when you break leaves. I would rather see them on on the side of the trees similar to the Cocoa Beans on jungle trees.

I would probably prefer the introduction of a fewer varieties of bushes rather than so many varieties of large trees. For example, I would go ahead and add limited in height cherry tree with pink blossoms and an actual white-blossomed apple tree that would not grow near as tall as the oaks. These, IMO, would be very nice to accent Asian gardens (rather than resorting to using wool as people frequently do currently). The apple trees could drop apples. The cherries could drop cherries. Instead of dropping apples, the oaks could drop acorns (which could be still be eaten; thereby, survival islanders would still have a food source from the common oak tree). Adding purple lilac and a variety of different colored rose bushes would allow us to grow some color into the landscape without resorting to building it using wool. Instead of the current single rose, the rose bushes could drop 0-4 roses in different colors. Shrubs could also be made to be readily plantable as indoor household plants, allowing us to deviate a little from using leaf blocks on top of logs as indoor greenery.
Too many trees.
I like the idea of a Great Oak, though. Can be grown similar to the large jungle trees, with four saplings in a 2x2 grid.
Cherry trees sound nice, since its probably my favorite wood finish: that dark reddish color, hmm, sexy. But I think there would need to be more justification to add them. Maybe cherry blossoms can be used as a brewing ingrediant?
As for the fruits, I could care less about them. What would they really add to the game?

I love the idea of adding a coco tree. Because.. Coco is very hard to come by.. and for all it's trouble.. cookies give very very little hunger bar back considering is rarity.
So I would love to see that tree, along with some of the other trees.
I'd like to just see an apple tree. Say when you cut it down.. or even just have it drop apples on its own, say the same time frame it takes wheat to grow and it drops say.. 3-4 apples per tree in that timeframe, then you could have an apple tree farm.
i really like the banana and other food tree, but it should be a better chance, like apples, when the leaves break, you should get at least one apple or other thing per tree, and like a big tree, get maybe three. It would make things a lot more fun getting wood, knowing that you would get some food!!
