I was playing Hexxit on my computer, and Hexxit is a mod pack like tekkit and yogbox and the like. One of the mods in hexxit was this thing that showed the mob you were last looking at and it's health bar, at the top of your screen. I thought this would be a neat feature for the Xbox version. Also, it would be very kind of someone to tell me what mod that was, so I can download it for myself and use it in other mod packs. Just a suggestion that would make the game a little better. Also, when you hit the mob, lets say your sword does three hearts. Off the physical entity in the game, when you hit it, says -6.
I was watching a arena battle on youtube yesterday, with that mod being used in the video. I definitely support this ideal, they should have a option to turn it on or off for those who might want to play in the original style.
Tentative support... would be concerned as to how much it might clutter up the screen in splitscreen mode and when multiple mobs are approaching the player.
It was only in the top left hand corner of the screen. It was small too. If you think about it, if the bar says 20 and one hit says -5, you can count it out to how many hits it will take.
Never thought of mob health bars... would be interesting, that is if it was an option to on/off in settings within game or in world options. Either way to me would not matter, but needs to be an option so those that don't want to see stuff like this will have to option to have it off. Could be off by default like the "Fog" was for me.
I would rather see a bar of health over each mob, but that might be asking for a bit much. After all that could be a lot of mobs to calculate a small bar over their heads to display. That is the way I would love to see, but would it be feasible is the real question.

I like the idea of health bar for mobs but only if there is a on/off switch in the menu settings. I would like to be able to play without the health bar too

I don't like how they seem to count health by half hearts, can't they just say 4.5 hearts or four and a half hearts? To me that's better than saying he's on 9 damage, then you'd have no clue which system they're talking about.

only the one your little crosshair is on so that way there is no cluttering
