I dont see how a game that can be played on a keyboard on an xbox cannot have an in-game chat box for the multiplayer. This is would allow for us to be able to communicate with our party members without having to use a mic ( or have a lack there of)
Well only games with Online Co-op should have the in game chatbox I mean look at this, Microsoft made a controller keypad that would work this function.. and then there is like my case where I have an actual keyboard hooked up to the xbox. So this goes back to my original question. why does this game not support the use of an in-game chat system. It would help alotta people that dont have mics at any given point for whatever reason. ( busted/ misplaced mic, need to get one, &ct.) to be able to play Multiplayer.
Sorry no support. They have game chat, xbox live parties, and messaging. I don't want to deal with grammar nazis or people who would rather type than talk.
Roy, you're missing my point there friendo. Some people cant afford a mic right when someone says a mic is needed to play. Some of us arn't made of $100 bills, therefore we have to work with what we have.

I'm pretty sure a cheap mic runs $20, maybe $15 if you're lucky.
I have never paid anywhere near that much for a headset.
And as if people spamming beds weren't annoying enough.
I can only imagine an 8-player world with 5 people going all at once.

Once again the point is completely missed. not everyone has $15-$20 immediatly on hand to get a headset. Why is this fact so godforsakenly hard to comprehend
As you already know there are several ways to communicate already. I want them to put their monkeys on actual game content. For a game that requires you to look at what your doing,I don't see it helping trying to read gibberish from xX420goodt1mebroXx while clearing a stronghold.

hypathetical.. someone that plays minecraft is deaf... how do they communicate, signlanguage is impossible without Skype so therefore that leaves a chat box system...

I'm sure deaf people are doing just fine. Just like they always have. And knowing a few some dont even want to deal with hearing able people. Xbox comes with head phones, I'm truly sorry if someone has broke the bank to buy Xbox stuff and cant afford a new pair, or a keyboard. i also dont know how they get by in other games with multiplayer. But after reading several threads just like this I'm of the opinion that most users are just fine with the current set up and want more ssubstantial game content. And really using the poor helpless deaf community to try and make a point. Shame. They really get along just fine in their silent world.

Smile ya brute. No need to pop vessels. I also have played mmo games with a ton of people typing away and been able to follow a conversation. All I'm saying is what ya want more, another comm option. Or mash ups,text pacs, increased build limit, jungle biome. Not to say maybe two years from now, ok, chat box. Perhaps on the new console.

T_T I can too.. playing Wow and raiding with people that cant work Vent to save their life ya learn to be able to read whats going on in the raid chat while you in the process of fallowing boss mechanics and otherwise slaughtering everything.
Ill take being called a brute as a compliment... no shame in being called what you are eh
