Do you keep falling off high staircases that you built? Then you need railings! Put them besides any staircase (or blocky staircase) and you are good to go! A few different kinds are available as detailed below:
in my opinion... railings for stairs...>< I use fence, and that works... fences are my railings, so what exactly would the duplicate ones do? This topic is pretty confusing...

My First World, always getting back to is a pleasure I enjoy with each new update that brings in more things to add in.
I like the idea of railings, myself. Fences really look out of place around stairs. Not that I don't use them, mind you; it saves falling damage! But they still look wrong. Railings would be nice. One block high, don't stack, work like doors in that you place them on the edge, not the center, of a block. Having it possible to put them on a stair block would be sweet.
That said, there are an awful lot of things in MC I'd like more than railings. (Hoppers!) But if fences could be done relatively easily, that might be a nice addition.

It would be good to show us a photo of how they would look like more o less
I think it would be cool to see fence post go in that kind angle, instead of making fence cages or placing one fence post on a row of upward blocks.
