Title pretty much sums it up, be able to make decorative blocks into stairs, slabs and possiblly fences/bars. Not sure if this has been suggest or not, have done a lot of experimenting with combinations and think these would be good additions, Imagine a gold and lapis staircase or a glass one to your floating castle in the sky.

This is amazingly creative! This will also put a new use to Lapis which i really never use. The glass i believe us the best part of this idea, it could be possibly used in glass buildings! I've got your support on this one! Nice thinking!
I like building Palm Springs type towns from the 1960s. Mid century modern type buildings. Glass slabs would be so helpful. I can do a passable job using multiple walls with the slabs available, but somewhat restricted in color and texture.
