This is a glass type that has more blast resistance, probably that of cobblestone, and a longer mining time. This would be good in the nether to have a transparent block that ghasts can't destroy. Also, it should have the texture showing that it is framed on the borders but is completely clear, not ridges like regular glass. Also, should drop if mined. I would have this instead of regular glass. Also, maybe reinforced glass panes. Maybe make it immune to creepers so you could make it an arena type thing.

This is a verrrrry god idea! Its kind of like bullet proof glass. This could even help with people who are building glass houses and what not, it would protect the house from creepers!

Haha yes this would be sick! I've always hated the ridges on the glass too, there's really no point in having a window if you can't see out of them. Haha.But then again the incoming texture packs should help with that.

Sign me up. I have always thought that as clear blast resistant pane should be an implemented item. As to how you would create it . . . well I'm sure they will think of something. I personally would like to see 6 glass blocks and 3 slime balls yield 16 panes of reinforced glass since I believe its currently 6 blocks for 16 panes (forgive me if I'm wrong).

This way it restricts it to panes only and not blocks and in real life bulletproof glass is constructed using 2 layers of glass. 1 is hard and the other is flexible then they are fused together so the slime balls would have a dual purpose in the crafting recipe and I think we all can agree that slime balls could definitely stand to have another purpose in game. I know I am sitting on 2 double chest full and even shut off my slime farm since I cant seem to find a use.

I kinda like the idea of having blocks that are reinforced more than the idea of only panes being reinforced.

I support! I like this idea lot as creepers blowing up my windows get annoying sometimes.

hmm... sounds like a good idea... wouldn't mind having another type of transparent block in the game... Although I doubt it will be minable like the rest of the glass...

Just would be nice if at least silk touch worked on them... in the very least....:D
