I think that Mine craft Xbox 360 edition could become way more interesting if new underwater mobs were added. For example, there could be "Parrot fish", these parrot fish could be caught with a fishing pole and can be either put back in the sea or put into your pool, fish tank, etc. Or, you could put them into a furnace and get cooked fish. The parrot fish would mainly be a decorative mob. Also, there could be Hostile fish. Example, a shark could be a Hostile mob that bites you and causes bleeding damage. The bleeding damage would act like poison. If you kill the shark, it drops shark fins and shark meat. Shark meat would be just like steak, except it has a different texture. The shark fin can be placed on a wall for decoration. There could also be a kraken. The kraken could be found in sea caves (A new structure.).A sea cave would hold some diamonds, armor, and other things you could find in a dungeon. The kraken would be like a boss mob. He would have three attacks. 1.Poison ink. Poison ink would poison you for 5 seconds if it got on you.
2.Wrap attack. This attack would wrap up the player in the krakens tentacles, this would do 5 hearts of damage.
3.Tentacle slap. This attack would slap the player causing 4 hearts of damage.
The kraken would have 250 health points.
Finally, if you kill the kraken, you would get 10,000 XP. You would also get kraken skin, you would get at least 24 kraken skin, this skin could be used to make armor that is more durable than diamond and provides twice the protection.
Maybe that'd make a nice mod for the PC version but there is no way they'd make that actually happen. Especially with the "Kraken" character. You don't even get 10,000 XP for killing the ender dragon. And all of those abilities for that thing just sound a bit absurd for a pixelated game.
Man can dream, but 4J can't. They have to follow the "rules", of making a game.
Also they wont be adding new mobs unless they come to PC first, because it's the copy of Minecraft PC, except with little tweaks.
Mobs are not tweaks, they are a new feature.

False. Minecraft for the Xbox 360 is not a copy of the PC version. It is it's own separate version but hasn't hit the point where it has really branched off yet.

Even if they do branch off it won't be by far or it really won't be Minecraft haha. And they really haven't shown that they want to branch off. They have all the features that PC does. And don't use the Dragon puking purple stuff as your way of saying that Minecraft for Xbox is different, that is hardly a statement. Nor is the way of crafting.
For awhile I have thought that adding new underwater mobs would be interesting. Although the mobs would have to be rare and also weak, as a Minecraft player combat underwater would prove to be complicated. So, I like your first idea better, a fish mob you can actually see underwater, so that you can catch them and put them in a fish tank or pool, and that this new fish mob would have no way of attacking us. This is to make the ambient scenery of Minecraft seem more realistic so that the oceans don't seem as empty and vague.

That'd be cool. An Underwater Boss.
