Umm... They are actually the same as PC, there "should" not be changes, but I'm ok with them, but I never use them.

how have you done the "tests" you are talking about?

If you want an enderpearl to go far all you have to do is throwing it at the right angle, a enderpearl thrown at a 45° angle will not go the same distance of a enderpearl thrown at a 80° angle.

I indeed use. I have killed thousands of endermen in the End and I have no problems while using them.
