How about more farming? How about things like cotton (Alternative to wool,) corn would be like sugar cane, but a three tall one gives nine corn, a two tall gives five, and a one tall gives one. Grow at half the rate of sugar cane, (half block at a time) Coffee beans found in dungeons, can be planted and made into coffee, tomatoes, cucumbers, spicy peppers, lettuce, lemons, oranges, pineapples, barley, alt to wheat, grapes, pomegranates, they grow like watermelons, only way smaller on trees, and you break it and it drops seeds. Another good idea would be like a garden gnome that is alive that watches over your crops and is hostile towards anything other than the player that made it. It would not ruin farmland though. It should carry a little lantern.
A fake scarecrow and a real scarecrow, the real one kills people, and they look the same.
Naw, that's too much like the idea about creepers dropping cookies sometimes. I was thinking more in terms of something that flies that has more of a purpose than the PC's bats do.
That is way too much crops you suggested there. Maybe one or two things you said would be fine, but not everything. We might be getting potatoes and carrots, and that's going to be awesome.
Also, adding more food variations is going to make the hunger bar useless. It's going to be easier to find food, and then survival mode will be boring.
Exactly.
If you find a village your set.
If you find melon seeds your triple set.
When you were in my world, you noticed that the walled area was a village right? I destroyed all but the big farms, and used the wood to fence in the big ones. I then made a bed, and like four farms that were huge. Once you find a village, you are set for life. Im pretty sure that there is a village on every world. I just want more food items so we don't have only bread, cake, meat, flesh, and spider eyes. Don't forget apples, because they are so rare, they are easy to forget about.

I did see that.
I was wondering why you lit everything with jackolanterns aswell.
But yes I'd love new foods for new shops and etc.
Great for the kind of RPG stuff I love in so many games.

I put my shirt on one leg at a time, just like everybody else.
Yeah, so don't try to make it easier to find food.
Almost every time, when you first spawn, there is food visible, maybe only a few blocks away too. Pigs and cows, and maybe chickens. It doesn't matter how much easier it is to get food because it is already too easy. Plus, half of those crop seeds would need to be found in strongholds and mineshafts. You are out of your mind to say that is easy to find.

You've never mentioned that it would be found in Mineshafts and Strongholds. If you had said that then I wouldn't have complained.
Oh sorry, I thought I did. I did with the coffee beans. Maybe corn grown in villages as a fourth crop found in villages. (The first three being wheat, carrots, and potatoes)

I'd love this if they just made it into a DLC. A few new mobs with it. Scarecrow, gnome, crows, and maybe a land based crop griefing mob. This way we could get some new achievements along with it.

I don't think we need so many new foods, but I would like to see one new food that's green. Like a lettuce or cabbage. I like meat, but looking in my food chest in Minecraft makes me feel a bit ill. Steak, steak, steak, steak, pork, chicken, bread, cake. It's a good thing Steve gets so much exercise. Would a nice big bowl of salad to go with that steak be too much to ask?
There are a few foods in the game which you can't actually eat, it would be good if you could. Like being able to boil the eggs or make the pumpkin into soup or pie, or the milk into cheese (or icecream, or just put it into bottles and drink it).
This would help a more complicated survival mode. When you open your inventory, it should show you more stuff that you need to keep an eye on, like your iron level, which the higher iron level, the less damage you take. Every time you take damage, your iron level will slowly go down. You raise it by eating leafy veggies like cabbage or lettuce, which both can be grown to make this not overwhelm you. Calcium level would allow you to run faster, jump higher, and deal more punch damage. You raise it by drinking milk, eating cheese, and other dairy products that should be added. This would only apply to hard mode.

Stay fluffy~
Y'know, it would all still taste just exactly like the chicken.
I'm not sure if they can implement a block that would grow a 1/2 block at a time; but hey, the PC now has carpet, so maybe... someday...
The garden gnome idea might also be kind of fun... or maybe an actual scarecrow?
