Considering that MCXBLA has fairly limited worlds, and you can't take stuff from one to the next, what about skills?
If they were attached to your gamertag/account in some way... and very hard to acquire... but still, treated like minor enchantments, but on the player, not an item.
Farming: a small chance of getting extra yield
Fighting: a +1 damage bonus
Mining: like a half- or quarter-power "efficiency" or whatever
Exploring: "Loot" ability that works 1/4 of the time....
Something like that? With an option when starting a new world to turn your 'Experience' bonuses on or off?
On the PC, I can just go wander off to find new lands... but on an xbox map, I'm limited. If I could carry over some skills from one map to another, it wouldn't feel like I'm starting over from square one every time a new update comes out and I need to start a new map to get the goodies.
