Since we will definitely be getting jungles with TU12, it would be cool to have a boss for them in TU13. This boss would be the Jungle Hydra.
The Jungle Hydra would be a 3 headed snake that must be spawned with the Serpent's Staff.
The Jungle Hydra is a green and brown 3 headed snake. It would make a slithering animation when it moves. He would make a hissing sound when hit and when moving. He would be about 9 blocks long and his upper part (his neck and up) would be 2.7 blocks off the ground. It would move almost as fast as a spider but just a little slower.
The Serpent's Staff would be crafted with 2 blaze rods in the direct center and the bottom center, a diamond on top, and gold ingots surrounding it.
After crafting the Staff, you would pick a location to spawn it at, and press the left trigger. It would have to be spawned in a jungle biome.
He would have 3 attacks:
Venomous Bite- He bites you, dealing 2.5 hearts and poisoning you. Only uses this attack 5 times total.
HeadButt- When he get up close he would headbutt you, dealing 3 hearts.
Fire Breath- Would breath fire up to 3 blocks away, dealing 4 hearts and leaving you on fire for 4 seconds. If you're house is in the jungle, you might want to get away from it.
The Jungle Hydra would have 200 hearts, and bows would do .5 hearts less damage due to hard skin.
He would drop The Poison Saber, 10-20 poison arrows, and 2-4 emeralds. The final detail is the amount of levels you get from killing him, which is 50-75.
Weapon details:
Poison Saber- A sword that deals 5 hearts of damage and poisons you. It would have a light green blade and a dark green/black handle.
Poison Arrows- Arrows that poisons you and deals 5 hearts unenchanted.

Just noticed that I use "would be" way too much lol
I like the idea though. But instead of keeping it restricted to the Jungle make it create-able like i suggested with my "hydra".
That way its not only a 1 time event like the Ender dragon, and there will be no reason to not make it strong... since you can decide when it will destroy your world.
Maybe (when we get jungles) add a small entrance to a "Jungle Stronghold / Temple" inside it where there is a pre-made Hydra.
Just remove and replace the head... and fight for your life.

I never wrote down an actual name, i just wrote down the basic idea i had in mind.
The drops you wrote down seem cool to me. We don't have any poison weapons besides the Splash Potion of Poison, so having a new way to weaken your opponent seems cool.
The way to summon them is just a bit to easy.
If you look at what you have to do to fight the Ender Dragon or Wither, collecting 1 diamond, 2 blaze rods and a few gold ingots is a piece of cake.
