I think there should be more mobs in the ocean not just squid like there needs to be danger make it more realistic like add sharks or stingrays something cool like that. what u think guy plz support and like
Yes very.
What about lobsters or crabs that sit low in the ocean and can be fished with lobster pots which are placed on the surface of the water and sink down to the bottom attracting all the nearby crabs/ lobsters.

I put my shirt on one leg at a time, just like everybody else.
I think we need sharks to make oceans more dangerous, and we need whales too (Notch even said he might add whales.) We need sponge blocks too, those could be used to create large sponge-like formations and imitate some life. Sharks would be cool for adventure maps too because then you would be able to make people die when they go into water instead of needing lava, cacti or fall damage. Crabs that spawn in beach biomes and shallow underwater areas would be amazing as well.
Jellyfish... with poison... When you get touched by one you get poisoned. They would bob and weave, but the tops of them are safe. That way it is a mid difficulty creature that will add a shock if you like building underwater...lol
Flying fish would be another idea. It may be a neutral mob that will not jump out of the water to attack you right away. If you attack 1 the flock comes running like how zombie pigman are. Easy to kill but as annoying as silverfish. Of course they will not jump onto land, as water is their domain.:D

My First World, always getting back to is a pleasure I enjoy with each new update that brings in more things to add in.
piranhas. said done and match. they r aggressive and travel in packs of around 3 to 10. You can fish them and add them to a fish tank (which i think they should also add fish tanks) as a memorabilia. Nice suggestion OP. +1
But people would start to die too fast, as they would attack very fast
And,what if you spawn was on a island?
Well piranhas could just spawn in certain biomes, in the water of those specific biomes. Namely jungle.... Which would make most sense. After all just any water life would be nice... Certain things could only spawn in specific biomes or multiples there of. It is a way to fine tune where things will spawn.
I really do not see piranhas being added to the ocean enviroment as that to me just doesn't make much sense. A shark yes, a whale yes, the many passive fish yes.... dolphins even would be nice like someone else mentioned...

The ocean is so boring.

maybe even a tamable ocean mob you can ride like a dolphin..... perhaps im getting ahead of myself. lol
itd be cool if we could have actual fish though for fish tanks.

I think we should have hammerhead sharks aswell, they'd be more blocky like.
It would be pretty cool to add dolphins, to ride em and see them (you know what I mean)
