Well, I don't know if this has been suggested before. Wanted to get this out without forgetting about it.
Is their a way if while holding a torch in hand, that it can still produce a light source???
Even from watching videos from back a few years ago for PC, to now playing the 360 version, always believed this would be greatly appreciated if implemented into Minecraft. I don't know about PC, but what about the 360?
The game can barely handle eight people with a standard Internet.
The constant lighting updates caused by such a thing would kill the system....
Yea, if only the 360 was more powerful then something as simple as light given off from torches wouldn't be so much of an issue. I've been in servers with difficulties like that, so I understand what you mean.
Though I must ask, IF it were possible with a more powerful system then would you think of this suggestion being beneficial or problematic at best???

well if mods are possible on the xbox one for minecraft then this should work. and i think it would be extremly helpful. but it would need to feed off of something in your inventory though... like it only works when you either have glowstone dust,coal or charcoal in your inventory.

The suggestion was meant as a special feature unique to the 360 Edition. Like what 4J Studios done with the Ender Dragon as an example.
