The title says it all, personally I know I would pay 20$ or just buy every texture that the 360 version currently has on sale for xbox. I just really want to be able to make my own textures for the 360 version.
I know it's maybe a security issue for the Xbox but here's how I think it could work:
1. image for texture is made/found by user
2. Image is submitted under xbox username to mojang
3. Mojang approves image by automatically checking it
4. "Custom texture" can be purchased as DLC from Microsoft store
5. Enjoy!

Mojang doesn't make the Xbox 360 Edition so sending them texture pack wouldn't do anything. On top of that, Microsoft would never let it happen. It's a closed system for a reason. In order to make a texture pack you'd need access to the games files and that would never happen.
4J is going to make their own or replicate PC textures to sell as DLCs. That is how it's going to happen and no other way. If you want to make your own texture pack, get the PC version.
Well first mojang is in the loading screen so where are you getting the info that it's not made by them?
Secondly of course it's a closed system, but there are games that allow you to use music from your computer, so it's not a far stretch that a picture could be streamed from your microsoft pc and used in game

Also if they had to fill the needs of everyone it would cost them more money then they would make kind of a (stupid business plan) bad way to make business... I mean its not like we will never have texture packs (4JStudios mentioned in a tweet that they started work on texture pack support)

As far as us creating our own it is pretty much the same reasons as skin packs...
I mean its not like we will never have texture packs (4JStudios mentioned in a tweet that they started work on texture pack support)
