I hate having to organize my inventory an i cant be the only one so they should add a button like on the d-pad when you open your inventory so it does it automatically like in tekkit.
I can see this as a problem... not every one would even like an auto-arrange, since every one may or may not have a different way they like their inventory.
The only way I could see this even possible to comply with people is something saved with the world file or a separate file for those kind of settings. The latter part more liable. As you would need to arrange it once in order for it to capture per say. Button of course to memorize what you have laid out, and a button to reset.
As far as wanting this type of feature, not really as I don't mind doing all that myself...:D That and I am a bit particular about how I organize my inventory.

My First World, always getting back to is a pleasure I enjoy with each new update that brings in more things to add in.
People carry different items in their inventories and have different ways of sorting them. An auto-arrange would be probably be more of a nuisance than a help... and it would use up a button on the controllers (which seem to be in short supply). What I wouldn't mind seeing changed is the tendency of the game to put whatever item you've just mined or created into any open slot on the hotbar. For example, if I place my crafting table while mining and make up some extra sticks for making pickaxes on the go. What gets placed in the slot opened by the crafting table are the sticks... which I then have to move out of the way to get a pickaxe into the hot bar or to get the crafting table back into the hot bar. As for this suggestion, though, I would still much prefer they move the camera view to the D-Pad and change the way the sprint functions on the left stick.
It sounds cool but how hard is it to make a chest for every item =/ and only keep the essentials in your main hot bar
Just to be clear, I do start out with only the essentials in my main hot bar. However, as you mine, any blank spaces in the hot bar become filled up. In order to place a crafting table, it must be first in your hot bar and the act of placing it creates a blank space. Then, when you craft sticks from your wood to make a replacement pickaxe, the sticks take up that blank space filling the hot bar. The pickaxe winds up in one of your other inventory slots, as does the crafting table when you retrieve it. So, you do then have to manually clear a space in the hot bar to use the pickaxe you just created; and again clear another space for the crafting table so you can place it the next time. No, it's not too hard to do; but it would be simpler if the all the cobblestone and such you mine didn't arbitrarily go first into any spaces you might leave open in your hot bar to start with.

Meh, if you say so.
It'd be more of a pain than a help for me since the auto-arrange would go across the top line while I keep certain things on certain sides of my UI.
Stay fluffy~
