ok first of all I just want to say, a mod and a plugin are basically the same thing, only difference is that a mod is considered bad on a console, plugins are what the officially licensed DLC is. this is why I am requesting that we get world plugins that add new blocks, items, machines, dimensions, whatever you might find in the most popular pc mods. With the plugin API that is eventually coming to the PC version it has an option in the create new world menu to "apply plugins" the plugins applied are selected from a list and remain in that world. I think this would be the best way to "mod" Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition because being selected per world would allow you to get new ones and try them out without having to corrupt old saves, it may require a new world for new plugins, but its better to start another world than to lose one you worked on for weeks. I think this would be a good idea for the way the multiplayer works as well because it would not require the person trying to join the world to have the same plugins as you. I know there are quite a few xbox minecrafters that would like to have "mods" and this would be the best way to do it, because it would allow the people who DO want them to have them but would not require the ones who don't want plugins to have to have them to play with their friends. let me know how this idea sounds, and leave some suggestions for the types of plugins you would like to see in the comments below.
