Basically we could have different cape designs. Like mob designs (like a creeper design with a creeper face on it), and solid colors for a default pack (as purplemonkey mentioned below). The price will be 80 MSP (used to be 240 but people below said it would be too high, and I agree). If a skin already has a cape, there should be an option to use the default cape for that skin, or to use the cape from the pack.
Support. I would LOVE this.
There could be a default pack with solid colored capes, along with a few designs, and then more complex designs can be sold in cape packs. Though I think 80 MSP would be a much more reasonable price, if not free. 240 MSP would be $3 and that seems to be asking a little much.
I'm with Purple in this.
$1 (80 Points) would seem more reasonable since it's "less" than skins, yet still adding something.
They could even have event capes for either being on on certain days or through contests they come up with (though that may be overhopeful).
I guess the price is a little too high :P. I think that we could get many different designs. Maybe mob faces, items, block designs (for example, a mossy cobble cape would be completely made of mossy cobble), and actual designs like swirls and stripes. Thanks for the support!
I think this would be a fitting addition to TU12, as it would keep up with the "tradition" of adding some skin functionality every other feature update.
TU3 added skins
TU5 was a feature update
TU7 added skin animations
TU9 was a feature update
TU12 will likely add features, and this would be a nice place to add a cape selector
I know it's a long shot, but a guy can only hope...

Stay fluffy~
This is awesome! There should be about 30-40 capes per Cape Pack.
