These are suggestions by Apex Sinner. His account is unreachable and he doesn't have a computer, so i am posting for him.
So, Over the past couple weeks I've really wanted to get around to making my own suggestions post with some things that I really feel would benefit, personalize, and truly make this game both more enjoyable, and more diversified. So this post will be long, but I ask that you bear with me as it goes over a lot of things and I explain them all in detail. I'll try not to ramble too much, but no promises.
So first on the agenda, The thing I'd like the most, would be new weapon selections, and before you skip this, hear me out, as I'm not asking for much, or an entire arsenal. Now you may also be asking, whats wrong with our standard swords? Well, nothing. The standard sword is basic, and it does what it does, nothing more, that's it's job. Simple. But as a fan of multiplier and the Hunger Games, I would, and I'm sure many others would, like a variety. Something to even the odds if your opponent, or opponents are better equip than yourself.
That said, I'm first suggesting a new type of crafting bench, one that turns that grid from a very limited 3 x 3 square into a 5 x 5 square, opening up a whole world of new opportunities. I figure with the new idea of forging new weapons, what better than to call in an Anvil. I believe these exist on the PC version, as I've heard people mention them before, but they mention it with a 4 x 4 grid, which is also limiting for what I had in mind as for design, but design is your department as I have no way of showing my designs.
Finally, on to the weapons. My first weapon, and not to sound too much like a Finnick Fan boy, as I've stated I am a Hunger Games fan, is the Trident. A trident, to me, would be amazing. Who doesn't love the idea of skewering an enemy from medium range? Now, you may be asking, what makes this weapon special, or unique, or in any way different from our swords? Well, obviously, it's a Trident, not a sword, and Tridents have a long range to them, so I would suggest that using the Trident would give you a longer attacking range. Also, Tridents are not swung madly like we do our current swords, they are thrusted, so a thrusting animation would be great. Giving it a longer reach will do little more than our current swords in fending off a horde, but it will help keep things at a distance for a 1 on 1 battle.
Next up, Claymores/Great-swords. The Claymore should have a slightly longer reach than the standard sword, but not as much of a reach as the Trident. This sword is also a weapon that cannot simply be swung madly, it uses a sweeping motion for most of it's attacks, and so that animation would be greatly appreciated if this is implemented. In adding this motion, this sword would also get an area of effect type attack, I would say branching from a 1 block radius, to a 2 block radius outward, the further the opponents, the further the sword radiates, obviously within limits. Great for dominating a horde. Now you may ask, whats keeping this weapon from being overpowered and replacing our standard swords? I would recommend a significant decrease in power, making our standard sword still the primary weapon in a 1 on 1 fight.
Next up, is the Crossbow, the weapon that just about everyone seems to be after, And understandably. The crossbow changed warfare in a ton of ways, it was a gateway into modern weaponry, making the peasant into a soldier overnight. quicker to load, and easier to fire meant you didn't have to be a great shot, you had more time to prepare your next. I'm not saying this is for everyone, as I am more for the current bow, but the outcry for this weapon cannot be ignored forever. I think simple perks like less drop and quicker drawback, but a slight decrease in damage would be all that is needed to show the players that they have a voice.
And lastly, although not a weapon in this case, I would suggest a shield. The defend with a sword is just.. a sad joke, it looks stupid, a shield would look both more realistic, and a little more daunting, especially if the wielder actually knows how to put it to use. Now I'm not saying to take the sword defend away, but I would say to make the shield absorb more damage than that does. My plan includes as long as your shield is next to your weapon slot, it was equip while you carry your weapon. That's the only way I could see it working, but the specifics are up to you.
Okay, enough with Weapons/Armor.. For now anyway. The next section, and more of a plea than a suggestions, please give us hooks to make tripwires! So many traps could be made ten times simpler if we only had tripwire, so hopefully soon?
While your at it, a rush order on horses would be great! Even though I don't think I'm getting this one. I don't know how they work on PC, but my thoughts was add carrots to the game, tame horses with carrots, and saddle them up. Hopefully making saddles craft-able, seriously, there isn't enough use for leather as it is, let us make them. Then, lastly, let us control the horses, don't let them control us like the pigs do, I don't want to be drove off a cliff by my horse. Anyway, just my thoughts on that
Okay, Next up, to ensure that my new weapon suggestions don't fall to the thoughts of being overpowered, I'm also suggestion a new difficulty setting. Seriously, it's disappointing how incredibly easy that "hard" is. I went from playing easy when I first started, to playing hard level difficulty and I was extremely disappointed in how small the difficulty actually changed. It seems like there are more monsters on easy than anything else, all that it changes is making them do a little more damage. Maybe I'm just great at surviving? Anyway, My brother in law and I had this thought one night that it'd be awesome to have a difficulty level called Horde mode, where the only monster was Zombies, and they were able to break blocks! Now obviously the more durable the block, the longer it would take them to break. This difficulty would take the safety out of homes and make the game feel like it was much more about survival than it was building a pretty house and making a garden, especially when you add in that.. You have only one life! Get your adrenaline pumping kind of action there, it'll test anyone s ability to survive, and I think it would really be a fun group experience as well. Now I know there are obvious problems with this idea, such as Building a sky-block, or sitting on top of a tree like a pansy, or building something out of Obsidian if you happened to get that far, but I'm sure you guys could figure out a "cure" for those problems.
Next up.. Rain, it's annoying, the sound on it is ridiculously loud, everyone I know agrees. Either lower the sound, or perhaps make it able to be toggled off like clouds and such, I hate having to turn down my TV just to play the game while it's raining.
And lastly, weapon personalization. Ripped straight out of Oblivion, I would like the ability to name our weapons when we enchant them, this is probably one of the funnest ideas I'm suggesting today. I don't know about you guys, but I'd love the ability to hide my own "Easter egg" type weapons in my hunger games map. Finding "Poseidon's Trident" would put a smile on my face, or "Odin's Bow", "Achilles Sword", or to my own point, personalizing them with your own names. The "APEX Point" For my Trident(Corny, I know, but you get the point). I personally think that something so simple could go a long way, especially in those RPG servers and the Faction wars matches. What better trophy for your victory than putting your victims own weapon on your wall?
Well, there you have it, that's all I can think of for now, more might be added later, but I'll be adding edits to the main post as their what people are most likely to see, but I will have the person posting this for me answer questions and make comments at least once a week so that I can keep up with the post myself, so don't feel like I've abandoned you if they haven't responded in awhile, and if you want a quick question answered, or want to discuss something with me personally, my GT is APEX Sinner, feel free to add me, I'm normally on all the time.
See you all next week!
That was unnecessarily long.
For those that don't want to read( I'm at work bored so I did )
He wants a new sword, a trident, option to name items, horses, trip wires, shield, rain volume down and an option where zombies are the only hostile mob yet they can break down any block.

That was unnecessarily long. Which means it should probably be broken into multiple topics or at least one-line split paragraphs.
For those that don't want to read( I'm at work bored so I did ) I TL;DR'd.
He wants a new sword, a trident, option to name items, horses, trip wires, shield, rain volume down and an option where zombies are the only hostile mob yet they can break down any block. Opinions in order: Meh, no, meh, no, maybe, no, don't care, why?
