The big problem with Hardore mode on the Xbox:
Since we have one person hosting the server and games cannot be played while the host isn't there, what happens to everyone else on a multiplayer world if the host goes and gets themselves killed? On the PC, since it's on a server, the person would simply be kicked out and since it's a dedicated server, the other players could continue on. On Xbox, if the rules were the same, then the host would have to leave, thus forcing everyone else in the game to leave. And since the host would have to delete the world, the other players could never play on it again. The way the Xbox is right now isn't meant for Hardcore mode. We'd have to see changes such as dedicated servers before we'd be able to have it.

Curse PremiumOnto the idea, be patient. They are bound to add it sooner or later.
