Hello who here is tired of making a redstone project and reworking the redstone and redoing it and so on and so forth because the redstone keeps connecting where you don't want it to and by the time you are done you used up much more dust than needed and the project is bulkier than expected???
here is my solution:
Lapis Lazuli Dust(wire)
it works just like redstone in just about every way shape and form but it doesn't connect when side by side and such so your redstone projects can be more compact, less time consuming, and more colorful.
there should also be a new block make of 2 redstone 2 lapuli 4 stone and 1 redstone turch so you can cross the wires without having to go up or down one block it would be arranged the following
row 1:stone,red dust,stone
row 2:lapis, torch,lapis
row 3:stone,red,stone p.s. please rememer to vote
Fully support, I really think they should add this to the xbox edition maybe as a unique feature. This could come in handy in many different ways (it could also give more use to lapis so... yeah)

Fantastic idea!!!! It's frustrating to deal with red stone sometimes because of this I really like you idea!
the only thing I dont like is that lapiz is used for jewelry in rl so it would be strange no use it as cable... BUT! this is minecraft so it doesnt have to has much logic

if we can get them to let us use lapis lazuli like redstone (and get it to stick to walls) we can not only make the wireing smalling because we can put the redstone and the lapis next to each other without worry about them linking up with each thus making it smaller (because we don't need to worry about takeing the redstone all the way out here so it dosn't touch this redstone). and we can make more complicated projects if we can get them to let us stick the lapis to the wall. or we can use it to make some projects simpler (because we don't we don't need to avoid touching the redstone it can be simpler).
