I hate to post about this so soon after my last thread but many games have lots of preset hair/skin color/ clothing and such to create your own character.
These would be pre-approved genertic parts of the character such as pants/shirt/hat/hair/skin color and more. A mix and match sort of deal.
How hard would it be to implement?
However I could easily see this leading to micro transactions which I would not be interested in honestly...
I'd rather just buy minecraft for 60 bucks and be done with it.
Just a little idea I had while fooling around on MMOs
-shrugs-
Edit: Its amazing how many people dont read the OP.
Play in first person view only and pretend your character looks a certain way.. then when someone sees it and claims differently... Kill them for their insolence!

If you mean swapping parts of a character from skin packs you bought, it's already been suggested many many many times before.
I think he simply means a create a character... kind of like Terraria or many games that came before it... Seems like a simple enough concept to implement.

I suppose someone with brown hair could be offended by their favourite character having redish hair...
Or maybe people would like their character to reflect themself like in many other games that have custom characters.
I dont know about you but most games I give my character features like myself. People that I know in real life know who and where I am because of it, and opposite.
Its better than everyone running around as steve. Honestly. That sounds great...
If customization was not important then the majority of PC players wouldn't use modded skins...
It is not going to happen for obvious reasons. PC players creating their own skins is largely unstoppable, but its easy to control on consoles. And seriously, I do not feel like seeing more "Black Ops 2" emblems redisgned for Minecraft skins... If you know what I mean...
*EDIT* Was it really necessary to create another thread about the same topic?

You didn't read the topic AT ALL. Thanks for your pointless post. The topic is about customization of presets, such as pick your own hair/clothing/skin that is pre-approved.

This entire thread is pointless because it should have been posted in your original thread.

I hope trying to belittle people in a sandbox game forum is satifying to you.
This is a suggestion, my first post was getting to the bottom of the differences between PC skin mod and xbox custom skins and why their rules and regulations differered. There was nothing left to discuss.
Both posts are almost completely different.
I suggest you use better etiquette while posting in these fourms please.
your right customization would be great... What they should do and this is my own opinion stretching away from this post... Is mojang or 4j or whatever should make a sight like all these other sights that let you create a custom skin, and charge "10" Microsoft points to create a custom skin (Because everyone is greedy lol) and let you use a Flash drive to download onto then go into your system settings game and apps and just download any skin you make straight into the game. That's my Idea =p
However, the Whole thing is to monitor people that want to make "inappropriate skins". But with them running the sight they can monitor it. I'm sure this would make people happy and make Mojang or 4J or whatever a few "bucks".

You know 80 microsoft points is a dollor right? I would pay a whole lot more for custom skins. I bought the game for 20 bucks and I'd pay a whole lot more for it if they had charged it.
I'd say for a custom premade skin chooser. I'd pay like 10 bucks. Maybe more if the options are pretty wide.
But complete creative control? There is no way they'd look thru countless submissions. They have a tiny staff.

There is a Diff with MC as opposed to BO2..... With MCXB360 rarely do you get in a room with someone you don't know, or just hundreds of "Randoms" like in BO where you are sure to see offensive emblems. If u have someone on your friend's list that makes their Avatar look like a naked chick with saggy boobs and a strap-on..... and this offends you, then your problem shouldn't be with the ability to create that skin, but with the person/friend that created it... And what reasons would you consider as "obvious"? You've seen some COD emblems and they can get ridiculous... yet the ability has been there to do it for quite some time.... Unrestricted. (Unless Reported I'm Sure)

Stay fluffy~
Are you really asking that? or do you just go for post count? I'm confused. Honestly.
Custom skin is asked about ALL the time. I'm presenting a idea that is simple and effective to please a big slice of the cake.
Thanks for adding to the conversation.
