Since we can't have larger worlds which grant you access to pretty much every resource in the game
I had the idea of your inventory being able to travel between your different worlds basically it would be an inventory for all your worlds so that way players can stay in survival mode and still have access to all the biomes and the resources they contain
This idea could be tweaked so there is another inventory altogether it could be called limbo an inventory shared by all your worlds that could hold like 2 large chests worth of items
As for implementing this in multiplayer i don't know if that would be good or not i can see trolls or griefers abusing this and causing trouble for other players
It's debatable.
I like the idea of moving stuff over, particularly because I cannot have Lilypads, End Stone, or the Egg in my TU6 world, but as previously stated, this could be abused easily.
It would also need to be contained to pure survival worlds, lest people cheat even more than the duplicaters....
While it sounds similar to terraria, it would still be a good idea. My current world barely has a desert, and not many beach areas. So I'll run out of easy to get sand fairly quick..leaving only underwater sand which is a pain to get. Being able to just go to a new world, collect sand from a new desert, and bring it back to my normal world would be nice.
It would have to be kept to survival worlds only. Like, it would be disabled on a world if it was EVER put into creative mode, similar to how achievements get turned off per world.
It would probably get abused, but honestly, I don't see it as a big deal. It would also work well for online, because you could take your materials online and trade them with people. Like, going to your friends world, giving him diamonds for a ton of iron or something. In this case, the Pros outweigh the Cons.
They'd also have to add an option to disable it though. Not everyone would want it, and it would probably annoy a lot of people. So something in the options menu to turn it on/off would be needed. As well as an option when making a new world, for world specific stuff. People might not want someone bringing stuff into their online world.
