Battle Axes would be the strongest weapon in minecraft. They would be built by putting sticks in the middle and bottom middle. Then, you would put wood, stone, iron, gold, or diamond in the middle left, top, right, top diagonal left and right. Since it is so big and heavy, you shouldn't be able to sprint with it. This would make things interesting. It would do one-half a heart or one heart of more damage compared to the swords in minecraft. There durability would be five percent lesser compared to the swords in minecraft. They shall look like an axe... well, with two sides on it obviously. That is all. EPIC!!!!!
You could aslo have new attacks with the battle axe.
Spin attack: you do a 360 spin, damaging and knocking back all nearby entities.
Fatal Swing: you do a deadly swing, dealing 8 hearts of damage.
Auras Death: with 32 diamonds in your inventory, you can do an attack doing a whole 50 hearts of damage, but has a 10 minute cooldown.
The last one may be a little overpowered, sorry.
I like this idea. Having a Battle axe as another type of weapon would be a cool. This way, if you wanted to do an adventure map with three people, each person could have a different weapon, one person could have the sword, another could have the bow, the third could have the battleaxe.

This seems like the perfect weapon for trollers/griefers. Even if you can't sprint, they can always make a speed potion(if that is in the 360 version.)

A battle axe would be cool to have and even better with the right enchantment there should also be more weapons like maces
Maces, claymores, battleaxes, tomahawks, warhammers, spears, pikes/ halabeards( Did I spell that right?ex ), crossbows and possibly flintlock guns like muskets, pistols and even a blunderbuss.
All are excellent ideas IMO.
