I was thinking that the option to place spawning cages (spawners) or whatever you wanna call them, would be a nice addition to the creative mode item menu. Instead of just eggs. One could build a maze or Wolfemstein type castle and place a zombie spawner in one wing of the structure and a spider spawner in another wing. A great tool for creating games. Death mazes and other wacky things.

Just a suggestion.

It would be nice to have them but if i remeber right you can't even place spawning cages in the pc version so the odds of us getting it are probably nonexistent

Some people want to spawn mobs without having to constantly refill dispensers with eggs

Spawn Eggs stack up to 16 (correct?) so if you fill a dispenser with eggs that means you'll have 9x16 eggs which comes to 144. That means you'll have 144 mobs spawn if you make like a trap. That'd be more than enough, and that's not even counting if you have multiple dispenser hooked up to a repeating redstone current, that would be downright deadly.

I also think they just look cool and no reloading. (And less work) Make an alter and just place a spawner on top. But your idea is good.

i dont know if you noticed, but alot of ideas here are for xbox exclusive features. We are probably going to get alot of things that the pc version doesnt have.

I myself prefer both--eggs for concentrated amounts of mobs and spawners for a semi-consistent, yet random (but disablable) amount of monsters....

Well if you placed multiple spawners in close proximity to eachother they would spawn a higher concentration of mobs

Whch isn't always agood thing, though.
Some places are better made with random bursts of mobs.
