I came across a cool mod on youtube called the bacteria mod
Don't know how many of you know about it but it has some cool features that would be great on the xbox version i myself haven't been able to play it since i don't have the pc version
If i did have the pc version i would deffinitely get this mod it makes sponges useful for one and the different bacteria can transform or eat blocks
I know the guy who made this mod posted his mod in the pc mod section of the forum
So go check out the mod and see if you want similar blocks and items in the xbox version
I didn't really go searching for the mod as just the title itself is a turn off...
Sure it might make the sponge more useful, but at what cost. I am a builder and there is enough problems with creepers, silverfish, and enderman to add something else that has a possibility to destroy my work or progress... ><
Not really fond of the idea. i could name other mods that would be way better or at least more entertaining... Necromancy one would be interesting... Anyway beyond the fact that it is a pc mod, you really aught to have described it more for those that really don't want to go searching for a search just to find out that possibly it is something they don't want. In my opinion just from what you have mentioned just doesn't interest me at all. but that is my opinion.:D

My First World, always getting back to is a pleasure I enjoy with each new update that brings in more things to add in.
All you had to do is search bacteria mod not that hard same thing for youtube or do you need those links handed to you as well
The bacteria have to be crafted so the only damage comes from using it without knowing what it does or griefers/trolls cause one bacteria type can eat blocks another can transmute blocks like turn wool into obsidian
They are activated via redstone torch and can be programmed as to what they are going to eat or transmute there is even a bacteria jammer you can make which stops bacteria from functioning
ive heard of the mod before. i think i would like to have it
EDIT- probably edited by/near a years difference from original post. this will never be added to xbox i have no clue what i was thinking back when i though this was a good idea

Couldn't this also be abused? You said that in the mod, you can transform blocks. What if you turned all the dirt in the world into diamond blocks? Or tnt? Like PhoenixHaze said, it could be used for greifing. No doubt its a cool mod, but I don't think it would be good for the 360

Because at first, I was against editing the blocks in a world.
But I was helping my brother build his spongebob world today. We were digging out grass to replace with sandstone. I thought about it, and I changed my mind. The block editing feature would he helpful, I support that. Just not the bacteria mod.

phh ok.. i agree editing would be nice, but why not add in worldedit and make use of the d-pad to add in commands? the dpad is useless atm..example= press up and a text window for a world edit command pops up. We would only need the basic ones like //wand //pos1 //pos2 //set //replace //remove //cut ...thats all we really need

The bacteria destroys blocks, and griefers can easily make bacteria to destroy your buildings, etc. I like block editing idea, but only if it were to be in creative mode, because as WoodBlock said, you can change all of the dirt blocks into rare blocks like diamond blocks, or make someones whole world of of TNT. Not to mention that the idea is overpowered.....
