Now, I'm not expert with Creative, as I tend to get bored and go back to survival, but I do like the World Edit options PCers have.
(Note: You can probably skip most of this as worthless drabble)
Specifically I was watching some of Yogscast Sjins Let's Build episodes and thought the World Edit features he uses would be quite useful, specifically the whole "fill in a giant lake of lava
I know, I know, each tool could, more or less, be replaced by good ol' fashioned, hard work, but I'd rather just be
Now I've thought about how it could be implemented onto the xbox version, as I'm sure it uses some of the PCs unique features and I thought this: (End Skip)
When you hit the "Y" button to open your inventory, instead of going to a large inventory, which, let's face it you dont exactly need in creative mode you go to a set of options, that you can toggle on/ off as you need them, and if you want to go back and forth between using the World Edit option(s) and regular building you could have a tool in your inventory (I think I read on PC the World Edit is represented by a wooden axe)
The options you get would be most of the normal options you get on the PC, and I only know what they are from watching Sjiins Let's Builds.
Fill an area with lava or water (ie make it like a natural lake) (Represented by a [red?] bucket of water or lava)
Spawn a sphere or something of a resource (Represented by the resource you want to spawn in your hand)
Remove a sphere of area
Replace a block with the block you're holding (Hold the resource you want to replace it with)
Anyway that's my thoroughly un-researched, "idea" for what is essentially a mod and/ or feature I'd like to see for the xbox version of Minecraft
This would make projects so much faster. Maybe you could have a copy and past tool, then cities would be so much easier to build. Also, a terrain modifier.

That is essentially what I had in mind. It would make creative mode a lot less tedious and allow for greater and grander structures to be built imho

Like when you pick between creative and survival, call it something like World Editor or something.
I don't know, it'd be simpler to add it to creative so you can use creative tools along with the world editor
but until then, I'll be building my mountain block by block.....
