My friends and I were talking during our game time the other night and I want to throw out an idea. I don't understand coding, so this might be impossible but just in Case:
Wouldn't it be cool that since the auto-save can be set to certain times, the. Every so many saves the map reloads with biome shifts. So our entire map could go through seasons, from summer with grass spreading and long grass growing, trees changing colors in fall, and snow during winter. So instead of constantly being stuck in a biome, it could change.
I actually like the way it is... however if it was an option that would be fine. If enforced, then I find it a bit much since I prefer the way it is now...:D

My First World, always getting back to is a pleasure I enjoy with each new update that brings in more things to add in.

It is an interesting idea, however there are quite a few people that dislike certain biomes and will actively avoid building in them. So having a shifting biome would probably make alot of people mad. Also the land is a lot of what makes up the biomes them selves so snowing in a desert or a swamp on a mountian wouldn't work out to well. There are some kinks to be worked out. On the other hand if it was a setting (like generate structures or superflat) that you could enable when creating the world I think there could be a use for it.
