Right now there are no servers for minecraft on xbox 360. What I mean by this is when you play an online game your really directly connecting into someone elses connection A.K.A ISP.
This causes lag and disconnections as they are jacking into your xbox which is made to only hold 4 people all over the world at maximum.
Now what I propose is that they buy some actual servers which are created to host private games holding 25 players at maximum.
now I know this would cause a load of money but they could rent these servers out. example: say you want a game called kingdomzandwarz open for up to 25 players. to host it would be a 5$ fee every month. 8 player games can be free.
For those who dont understand how a server works:
A server is basically a tweaked highly expensive modem made to string together xbox 360s all over the world so that players can play almost lag free. At minimum(cheapest) a server can hold around 100 people. So every 25 or 8 people get their own spot on the server where a leader/host assigned to decided rules as well as who can and cannot join. the physical server machines are usually kept in offices or factories where they are given frequent maintenance.
Feel free to tell me if i have made a mistake.
I think this is a good idea and an awesome vision for the future of minecraft.
Even if there were servers, the game would still lag.
It depends on your internet connection, not just the fact that your Xbox 360 is acting as the server. Someone would still be host, and if that persons internet isn't that great, it will lag.

no the host really isint the host its just a title. actually they would just be someone borrowing a spot on the server.
the interenet connection would be provided by 4j now lagging may still accure if those who join have bad connection but otherwise there will be no almost no lag. you heard me type almost.
