How about an actual cannon with cannonballs the cannonballs can be made from stone or iron the iron ones could have the option of being upgraded into exploding cannonballs the cannon itself would be like 3 iron 2-3 wood planks and a stone button
When clicked on the cannon would be like a smelting furnace or chest then you add the cannonball of your choice and then hit the button
Palm or coconut trees would be a nice addition. Not in PC... Might be a mod though.
Coconuts would be a good source of food if you can find the desert island biome in an ocean biome.
Sky dimension could add a lot of new features to the world of minecraft.

I'm definitely all for new trees, but only if they are biome specific.
Maybe as well as being able to harvest the coconuts, you could be able to extract the milk/water and use it to craft a recipe that would re-gen more hunger points than raw coconut itself.
I like the idea of connecting mine carts in to a longer train, it would be nice to travel with multiple supply carts and make moving all your stuff to a new house a whole lot easier.
Going along with my earlier post, how about a larger leaderboard meaning more things on it, like moss stone, or ores, like diamond, gold, lapis, maybe even saddles unless they will allow us to make these from leather to ride horses which they should put into the game, fish caught or redstone mined. just minor adds like this keeps the game interesting for some. Big ole updates seem to take awhile from what ive seen and the anticipation seems to bother alot of people.
I don't know why anyone would want exclusives I don't see why both can't have the features
Because both are being worked on by different companies and 4J Studios said they are going to be doing their own thing with the game in some areas. So people are just offering suggestions. I'm sure if something is good enough, it will go to the PC as well.

You mean a 5 by 5 square instead of 3 by 3?
I can see it working but I don't see much point unless we run out of item recipes.
I'm all for them using all the 3x3 recipes by the way.
Could be more difficult to see than pressure plate.
On the PC, tripwires were added in 1.3.1. So there is a possibility that we may see them.

joking aside I suggested cannons because people already make tnt cannons and it would make online pirate battles all the more fun

I think 4J should still stick to what Minecraft is at the core. If you want to play with guns and stuff, play on the PC with mods.
I wouldn't have a problem with a very basic Redstone TNT cannon but nothing more than that.
