I put my shirt on one leg at a time, just like everybody else.
It would be very useful to fuse blocks together to create plates so i could then lift a sheet of blocks with one
piston instead of a piston for each block.
colored glass would be nice as well.
the ability to put redstone wire on glass also and ability to invert stairs for decoration like pc version.
pipes to run water through as well as the abilty to control the flow with a lever
the ability to lay wire vertically as well as repeaters vertically on a wall would open up creative abilities greatly
when wiring something up
It's true, they are putting in a Nether Superflat world option. http://www.hookshotinc.com/minecraft-xbox-1-8-2-update-news/
The Superflat world creation option is used to generate a completely flat world, at a level close to bedrock. This is something players like when they just want to use Creative Mode to build some kind of massive structure without needing to first excavate a flat area. One change we’ve made from the PC version, in response to a few requests tweeted, is to also generate a flat Nether world if the superflat option is set. We’re expecting to see a few nice Nether creations with that!
Archeology would be an excellent addition, finding tombs, and artifacts, which would also fit well with digging up dino bones, and building a museum to display all the cool finds, and more interesting stuff on the ocean floor, like sponges, seaweed, shipwrecks, treasure, coral, reefs, visible fish swimming, so underwater building would be more enticing
I was thinking earlier about pumpkins and melons and how they have seeds so you
can grow them, and I began to think, "Why can't we take the seeds out of apples and
grow apple trees?". That would be awesome, all they would do is grow a normal tree
and add a texture on it to give it small red circular objects in the leaves. Then they could
increase the chance of apples dropping from leaves to 50-75%
I would really like to see a mini map, just in case you accidentally toss your map into a pit of lava thinking it's the inventory button.
What i have in mind is something that is pretty much on the PC, however unsure how it would be implemented. You know you see coordinates on the map when you have it out. Well would be nice if there was a button or something to just bring that up with out a map in hand, as that is really all i use maps for beyond exploring the map.
i do like the idea of having an option of having a mini-map in one of the upper corners of the immediate area around you no matter what Y level you are at, and only show explored areas within that mini. When you have a map in inventory you can make this mini-map get bigger seeing more of the terrain and such around you. Bigger as in zoom out a bit. Still keeping the basic map in hand at it's own use if you equip and look at it, which would have the biggest zoom anyhow like it is now. The way i see mini-map not rendering the map itself useless is not to have too big of a zoom or such in the mini-map when map is in inventory. However without map in inventory would mean mini-map zoom would be all the way in, hence immediate discovered area around you.
maybe even having some kind of Fog for the map... Just an idea to expound upon the post i quoted.

My First World, always getting back to is a pleasure I enjoy with each new update that brings in more things to add in.
The one thing that would be awesome if they added would be to convert your avatar into a Minecraft skin and let you play as them, or if that's not for you, you can still use the premade skins.
I don't think if they add an exclusive feature to the Xbox, that it should be TO big, but the apple tree idea sounded really good to me!
4J is smart enough to not drastically change the game. Take the PC for example.
They add tons of crazy features from bats to potatoes, but it doesn't really change the way
you play the game. In the end, you always go back to mining stone and chopping wood.
I would love to think that 4J Studios might read this!
Minimap would be great - much like a mod on the PC Rei's Minimap.
Someone also mentioned about getting seeds/planting apples to make apple trees - that would be awesome .... then a brewing process to make cidre .... or apple juice
Or perhaps the ability to build a green house, making crops grow faster, or drop more produce when harvested.

Padware just commented on this, and he works at 4J. So yes, they
have saw it!
Lamb chops?
I'm not sure how often lamb is eaten in the rest of the world.
But I eat it more than beef so I want to eat sheep in minecraft.
Crossbows sound good they should be really powerfully(maybe 8 full hearts) but take a few seconds to load.
Let us equip villagers with armour and swords to make them guards and fortify their villages.
Mules not horses. Mules would be controllable aswell.
And then add some servers like the pc ones were hundreds of people can join and build. Or play games like DayZ or hunger games on minecraft.

This has likely been suggested before, but the ability to place sand and gravel without gravity in creative would be awesome to allow for the creation of traps.
Hypno-torch a torch that attracts mobs to it it can be made from Redstone and glowstone dust it is two times brighter then a normal torch and doesn't affect mob spawning
It can be used to keep mobs away from your structures and to gather mobs so you can kill them
It would be ideal for it to give off a blue-ish green glow sort of like a bug zapper but I know the ingredients would make something orange
I like lamb!
Maybe they could make it so that it can only be harvested from babies, ie lambs .... although some people may think thats cruel, but it's the same as real life! Obviously this would only be possible when breeding is introduced. Therefore would make it a bit harder to come by as you have to breed.
I think someone has already suggested this, but I thought I would take it a step further - The ability to make thatched roofs out of wheat, but the way you could place it would be similar to rails, in that when you place them on a slope, the thatch would sit ontop of the blocks and make a smooth incline (like rails do), that way you could build a roof without having steps and blocks showing.
Which then leads me on to another idea... how about a new resource - Slate, or the ability to craft it out of current resources. Then be able to use it in the same way as mentioned above. Then you could make a realistic looking roof!
... if you can't already tell ... I really like this thread

I like the idea of roofing and then I could make wheat roofs on my dirt houses to be even more African dirt house town style.
I also like how you liked my idea Good job
