Just want to say that guns should NOT be added to the game. Guns do not belong in Minecraft, sorry guys. If you wanna shoot stuff with guns get an FPS. As far as stuff added to the game, I like the idea of more mobs and foods.
I don't see how simple muzzle loaded firearms can't be included.
The only thing they have over bows is power.

I put my shirt on one leg at a time, just like everybody else.
If people can't agree on whether or not to include guns, they should meet in the middle at crossbows. Also, a tool recycling method. When you smelt a tool that has been used, must be iron or better, if it is still before the half health mark, smelting the tool would give back two of whatever mineral was used to make it. When a tool beaks, it should turn into a broken whatever it was, and smelting it gives back one of whatever was used to make it. Wood tools should be able to be used as fuel, like a wood pick before the half health mark would be three wood planks, anything under the half health mark would be two, and a broken wood pick would be one. Sponges should be craftable with 4 wool. Sponges should absorb all water source blocks that are close enough so that their floods can reach the sponge. Also, another cool thing would be volcanic stone. This would have the texture of regular cobblestone except that it would have an orange color in between the individual stones that make up the cobblestone. It would give off the same light as redstone torches, and does not pose an immediate threat to you, but WILL set leaves and wood on fire. Cobblestone that is like stone bricks except has no organization and has multiple colors. Tiles would be nice. Volcanic stone should spawn like ore and can be crafted into tools that automatically smelt the ore upon mining. Lets say you mined iron ore with this, it would drop an iron ingot.
For me I'd like to see more expansion into being able to make cool contraptions. Maybe simplifying the redstone building process, allowing current mechanical blocks such as Pistons to be allowed more functions, bringing in completely new mechanical blocks....I personally would love to see a Wheel block allowing contraptions to go mobile but i know that could cause headaches at the programming department at Mojang lol. Basically just a general expansion of the mechanical aspect of this would be great.

It's not a question of can they be included, its a question of should they be included.
If I had a vote (which I don't) I would vote no. It would completely change the feel of the game and render all other weapons obsolete.
I would, however, like to see a throwing spear and/or crossbow.
Compared to a bow --
Throwing Spear: Cheaper to build, more power than a bow, shorter range, not stackable. retreavable after use. Can also be used for melee almost as well as a sword.
Cross bow: More Expensive to build, more power, longer range, slower to reload, requires special arrows.
Each of these would be balance to reflect reals world advantages and disadvantages. (melee & projectile power, range, speed, reload etc)

what about interlocking maps (they cant make endless worlds) I've seen someone talk about this before but like making different worlds interlock where it sends you into another/new world and you can collect items and they will still be in your inventory but that world will be a new save (if you catch my drift). I think this is a really good idea I hope that you think so to !
The difficulty would be with split screen players. Multiple worlds would have to be loaded at the same time. (unlikely the xbox can handle it) It might be doable in online multiplayer where each XBOX is rendering a different worlds on screen. but still the host xbox would have to be updating multiple files at the same time.

Since 4J is working on options to reset the Nether, can we have chests added to Nether Fortresses that can contain jungle tree saplings and melon seeds ? I think that would be an acceptable way for most people to make older survival worlds more viable again.
The nether should have vast amounts of gold in chests inside the fortresses. A new mob inside the fortress should be called damned Steve. He should make zombie noises, and not be all green. There should be green spots on his face. He should have a full suit of gold armor, he should be neutral, and you should be able to trade with him. He should also have a gold sword. Upon death, he should drop up to three gold ingots and a damaged gold sword as a rare drop. He should have the same damage as a gold sword, but take WAY more hits. There should be a few of these guys at a time in each fortress. The gold ingot drops would make it more rewarding to kill them. There should be an ore called nether crystal ore. This would be netherrack with a blue color that is lighter than lapis but darker than diamond. Tools should have the same durability as iron. There should also be something called nether metal ore. Same thing as nether crystal ore, but has a bronze color, and mine faster but with lower durability. Obviously a mineral block for each. Nether swords would be cool. They would have the same crafting recipe as a regular sword but instead of a stick it is a blaze rod. Also, with netherrack. It should have the durability as stone swords but with fire aspect without even enchanting it.
I think that they should take the 5 most downloaded mods and (With Approval from the mod creators) and port them over to Xbox and Sell them individually or like the skin packs, multiple at a time. They should do the same with texture packs
We should have aluminum ore, copper ore, nickel ore, zinc ore, cobalt ore, and tin ore. These should each have their own tools, but can be alloyed into brass, bronze, steel, and others. We should have anvils, but used for something completely different than what the PC people have. It should be like a crafting table, only better. You should be able to cook ingots in furnaces to make a heated version of whatever you have. You should have to craft leather gloves to take this out of the furnace, and if you try with your bare hands, it will hurt you. You should be able to cool the heated iron and steel or whatever in a cauldron, and when picked up again, it is hardened iron or steel or whatever. Then you go to the anvil and create a hardened steel or iron or whatever pickaxe or sword, and they mine faster and last longer. Also, a feature where if you cut down the bottom wood of a tree with an axe, every wood block falls.Flint tools, have the same abilities as stone with more durability. Not make gravel the most useless block in the whole game.
A way to turn off dog teleportation would be great. It is annoying. A panel for every block, so if you want the outside of your house to be made of cobblestone and you want the inside to be made of wood, build it out of wood and then use panels.
I was thinking (and aye.. it is a dangerous thing to do at times for it can get ya in trouble) Yet when TU9 comes with supposible jungle biomes (hope that is true we get them..), would we get a increase in build height? One would say yes because of the jungle trees growing huge (40+ blocks high).. yet I am wondering.
What would you rather have, twice the world size, but normal height, or the other way around? I say if they have to choose, they pick twice the world size. I say they also add the ruins mod as a second generate structures option.

Unfortunatly the real answer to the ruin thing is no. Mods will have no place in xbox edition due to certain things. As for height or size... tough choice. Just have to wait and see.
why do mods have no place in Xbox edition? We should have the same privalages as people on PC. And I'm guessing that you didn't just go ahead and say yes when the firsts mods came out. Did it end badly? The answer is no. People are just playing it more and ENJOYING it. That all that matters.
Mods for games are against X-Box Live TOS, which is why we can't have them.
I think that this is a great idea and dyes of course texture packs would be brilliant.
I think that the majority of this is brilliant but the stacks being 64 is original so why change that!
I play in survival, I'll scope out a seed in Creative, but I actually like going around and gathering up materials. That said...
I'd rather be able to carry 4000 bits of sand from the desert back rather than 2048, especially considering I'm more likely going to be making sandstone out of it.
Ghast tear + fire charge + sugar + clay ball = ghast bomb has 2x damage area and can set some of the ground on fire
Wolf ward a scarecrow type object that will keep wolves from spawning or coming near an area so sheep pens don't get destroyed by a single wolf spawning in the pen
This pertains to a previous entry of mine about volcano biomes in an active volcano biome ash can be harvested and mixed with water to make clay

I posted this morning that using clay like stucco would make this option even better. Instead of panels, use clay that can be dyed different colors. This would also allow for wood framed houses and or framed interior walls. The functionality is already a part of the game as pictures go flat on a vertical surface. Now imagine using clay to make a stucco panel. There would also be a need to improve the fence physics and allow doors and windows to be placed more evenly.
Clay+dye= stucco or drywall

The only thing they have over bows is power.
* Emerald Block (Swords, shovels, etc.)
* Plumbing (steel, diamond, gold pipes that can devert water or lava to other levels)
That's all for now.
It's not a question of can they be included, its a question of should they be included.

Sandstone Stairs and Fences.
Nether brick slabs.
Nether rack to be able to be crafted into Nether brick.
Colored Glass would be awesome.
I get the joke with the divisible by 8, but maybe can we go to 10 slots in a row, and 100 count to a box?
Labels for chests.
