I'd like to see an option in game to revert back to older versions in order to play on older worlds with the version in which they were created. I want to be able to play with less "stuff" in the game, instead of their adding more and more and more all the time. I'd like a ready means to go back to the old-style terrain generation with massive beaches. I'd also like a means to turn individual mobs, villagers and animals on and off.
Ah, I see what you mean there Tamorr. Mixing the spruce with oak would give a more natural feeling of a forest in..say the Rocky Mountains. Now for mountains we need a better seed generator. I would love the idea of having high snowy peaks and trees covering it from the alpine zone down. Make it more naturalistic basically.
exactly....:D That was my thought, to give a more natural look to the terrain... And yeah would be nice to have altitude snow, however be like 50-50 as not all mountains have snow on the roof. ie Volcanoes....lol That way we would get some mountains with snow and some without, to add to the randomness in generation...:D

I thought they mentioned something along those lines that they were looking into that...hmm... could be mistaken, but very nice as I wouldn't mind tangoing with that idea going back n forth between at least 2 of the versions...:D

Well there are some volcanoe's with snow on them *coughSt.Helens...one in Hawaii* But I wouldn't mind some more naturalistic feel is all. Heck, if and when they introduce texture packs I want the misa one. Makes the block look photo realistic.

oh... those ones... hmm... wasn't too fond of those ones myself, as I like the look of default ones. If I were to select a texture it would have to have that old RPG feel to them, like the original first half of the final fantay & dragon warrior series... That would be a style I would like having...:D
I like the natural look, but too much realism defeats the purpose in which I play in the first place for me...lol

I just thought about it, and the advanced movement mod would be useful on the 360 version of minecraft, plus would add to the fun of both parkour and adventure maps since you would be able to climb and crawl, as well as dive, side and have a better flight animation, plus notch himself is working on dual wielding for the pc, we better get that too, and why have you not added redstone lamps yet?
im still suggesting an achievement pack idea but half would be The desktop version and the other half will be xbox exclusive, but I'm suprised no one cares for more minecraft achievements.
I want more acievements too, This would definately be a HUGE hit with 360 players, gotta get that GS up
4J, after you get finnished with adding vanilla features, take a look at the DNS Techpack, it truly is better than tekkit, this would be the peanut butter to the chocolate that is Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition. it includes in some form almost every idea on this thread, or did at one point at least.
There is a superflat world option on the xbox already...
I want Superflat world MODIFICATIONS like the PC version.I'd want a terrain option that allows mountains(Not Extreme Hills) to be generated by the edge of the world while there are tiaga biomes on the bottom. WIth snow-capped mountains.
Is there any response from 4J to all these (good) suggestions written down for month now?
If not, I think this topic is fruitless.
Obviously they can't even make new texture packs happen since I heard nothing about it for month.
How could they realize any of these suggestions then?
They're still working on bringing the game up to version 1.2.3. After that we will more than likely start getting texture packs and custom features. I know it's hard for people to wait months but games and software programs have a developement cycle that can't be rushed. Thousands of people and over 30 years of developement have brought our game/software developement cycles to where they are today. If you think you can improve upon that then by all means join the field.
WE NEED A BOOK OR SOMETHING TO TELL US WHAT IT TAKES TO MAKE CERTEIN POTIONS BECAUSE MY FREINDS ARE DOING THE TRIAL AND ERROR THING.... AND IT WOULD BE COOL TO BREED MOBS AND MAKE STUFF LIKE BABY ZOMBIES OR BABY CREEPERS .............THANKS FOR YOUR TIME :).
Thats from the wiki page on brewing. http://www.minecraft...et/wiki/Brewing
Please note that thats from the PC version and we can't make some of those potions yet.
How about a toggle for mobs that allow damage to players only? Endermen can't steal blocks and creeper explosions don't damage structures, only players. THIS is what I would like (as would just about everyone building a server world, I'm sure).
For when there's trading with villagers possible: how about a Forester, someone who trades "odd/rare" trees and plants? Like rubber, the Forestry 2 trees, flax, indigo? Now, the Forester might set us a quest before he'll trade with us...

That would be cool. A quest would be hard since they don't talk.
Berry bushes and a special villager type called "nomads," and they spawn in groups, and there is one big one and they all follow the big one. They kill mobs that drop meat, and they harvest berries. Berry bushes should have berries, and when you harvest berries, the plant stays and will eventually grow more berries.
There should be a new neutral mob: Horses! It works like Ocleots and fish, horses and apples! When you tame it, you can put a saddle on it and ride it around. However at 1000 blocks traveled, the horse gets "tired" and you have to wait 3 Minecraft days to ride it. When you have 100 blocks left, the horse makes "panting" sounds indicating its tired. When its untamed, its neutral and it can be hostile when you hit it. It will run away when you sprint by it or come up from behind it.
what about interlocking maps (they cant make endless worlds) I've seen someone talk about this before but like making different worlds interlock where it sends you into another/new world and you can collect items and they will still be in your inventory but that world will be a new save (if you catch my drift). I think this is a really good idea I hope that you think so to !

Like have a list of all the commands in a menu. "select" for all the list of commands.
Definitely need the end portal and beacon. I'm sure all those will be in the next update.
Also, need spawn eggs too.
