Creates 9 x 9 zone where players can not kill anything or each other. (note: mobs can still kill you.)
Also if powered by redstone, any chest, furnace or dispensor in the zone will not open.
Crafting: This block should be VERY expensive. Perhaps
Redstone Block + 2 Potions of Healing + 2 Obsidian + 4 Diamonds
Yes I know we don't have Redstone blocks so I guess you will just have to add that too

Palm or coconut trees would be a nice addition. Not in PC... Might be a mod though.
Coconuts would be a good source of food if you can find the desert island biome in an ocean biome.
Sky dimension could add a lot of new features to the world of minecraft.
I agree. In General, there is too much Northern Climantes and not enough Tropical. Those guys should winter in Florida for a couple of months and work from here. It would change there "world view" <grin>

Have an option to select world dimensions, but only during initial map creation. Also the options should be limited to a "square" number, ie 500 x 500 to stay true to minecraft map prior.
Should be expensive to craft.
Wears out over time but very slowly.
Can be enchanted to add properties.
Added to the Armor Interfce so only 1 can be worn at a time.
Crafting:
Ring: 2 gold blocks + mineral (adds aprox. 4% )
Amulet: 2 diamond blocks + mineral (adds aprox. 8%)
Mineral List:
+ Diamond = Sparkling Ring of Protection (Reduces Damage taken)
+ Redstone Block = Pink Ring of Stamina (Reduces Hunger) (NOTE: Requres adding a redstone block)
+ Sugar Cube = White Ring of Haste (Increase Speed) (NOTE: Requres adding a sugar cube block)
+ Coal = Black Ring of Abundance (Increase Mining efficiency)
+ Gast Tear = Silver Ring of Immortality (Faster regenration)
+ Blaze Rod = Yellow Ring of Power (Increased Strength)
+ Glow Stone = Yellow Ring of Lightness (Reducess fall damage)
+ TNT = Red Ring of Doom (Increased Hit Damage)
+ Fermented Spider Eye = Green Ring of Calamity (Increased Poison Damage)
+ Gold Block = Ring of Fortune (Increaded Minerals from Mining)
Notes: Should be visable to other players.

Here is my reasonable suggestion that looks possible in my eyes. what i would hope them to add to either pc or xbox eventually would be able to somehow most likely with the anvil. is to be able to make bottles of experience. thats my serious suggestion but what i really want to see is more gardening or life in the sea other then just squids like coral or fish/dolphins dolphins sharks well thats my suggestion they might do either eventually but in do time i hope there is at least something like them
An item added to swamps; Plains have lots of grass, and jungles (when they come out) have lots of both grass and fern like plants, derserts have that dead bush.. Sure lillypads are in swampland, but what about cat tails that grow in the water like lillypads. You would find them in swamps and be similar to the grass in the plains where as it has a chance to drop seeds.
Those that don't know what I mean... The cat tails look like a thing of wheat the skewered a hotdog, usually found near lots of water irl.
Maybe not need to be exclusive to swamps, maybe just in those pools of water we tend to find and in or around the lakes and swamps.

My First World, always getting back to is a pleasure I enjoy with each new update that brings in more things to add in.
I like this one! Maybe with some 4J refining, it'd be perfect. It'd give me a good armor purpose. Armor seems boring on Xbox, to me at least. I'm skilled enough with a sword (not a hard feat) to use leather, and that's mainly for minor fall absorption. I won't change my difficulty to hard, only Normal or Easy... Hard + Creepers = dumb.
Give us another piston called Pile Driver that works in a more predictable way and adds new features.
Pile Drive Crafting: Piston and Repeater allowing ou to adjust settings.
Setting 0:
This would a normal piston with more predictable behavior; that is, redstone directly below or next to the piston would activate it and placing other blocks around it would not activate it. Also it could never be activated by power applied to the pushing surface
Setting 1, 2, and 3 would launch things into the air. 2 blocks, 4 blocks, 8 blocks high...
Think of the posibilities.
Imagine launching a block of sand 8 blockes into the air and having it activate curcuits on the way up and again on the way back down.
Imagine your friends walking on what looks like a desert sand only to trigger a mechanical earthquake.
Levity aside, the more serious desire is for a more predictable piston, where ONLY power running direct ajacent to any of the 5 sides activates it.

I do agree on that after reading this post. Imagine the aesthetic appeal you can do with more botanical gardens or inside a fancy build?
Add a "Village Inn" to each village. Inside the Inn apply a few community rules: Mobs don't spawn, PVP is disallowed, Destruction of blocks is disallowed, Villages contain an endless dispenser filled with a very weak health potion.
This would be a natual gathering place for trading with your on-line friends.

The Pile Driver could as be used as a pulser/counter. Have it slide a block sideways for 8 blocks and you could trigger up to 6 pulses to a dispanser. a matrix of these could create an exact number of pulses needed. I built CNBs pocket sized potion dispensor, so I could easily add a feature to select the number of potion sets you want to brew.

The option to turn off spawning animals would be great. While they're obviously integral to Survival, it's extremely annoying to have tons of them running amok and getting in my way in Creative. The option to turn off hostile mobs is there, so why not an option to turn the animals off?

possible because they do not have spawn eggs yet, as that would defeat the purpose to have the critters. I am sure they will revert to the few animals we had in 1.8.2 before the patch, which is feasible considering then they had a long respawn rate. So much that you would hardly see much respawn. So I have no worries either way. Would be nice to have many more options to customize regardless of what they are. That is how you would be able to personalize the experience anyhow...:D

I'm a johnny come lately to this thread so pardon if some of these have been repeats.
#1 - Secure chests (openable only by placer). For the love of God!
#2 - Wyverns, or some kind of airborne menace.
#3 - The ability to create piles of coins (for decoration and treasure rooms)
#4 - Display cases
#5 - Taxidermy projects (stuffed creepers and zombies!)
#6 - Magic casting -- fireballs, etc -- even if its done by wands or staves.
#7 - Anvils to repair items.
#8 - A slimeball recipe (I hate looking for those dumb things)
#9 - A teleporter tile
#10 - Structures not anchored can float in water (galleons, anyone?)

1. would be nice, like I mentioned in another thread.
3. I can actually see a decent recipe for this using a pyramid style in the crafting grid. combination of gold, diamond, redstone, and lapis.
4. Kinda like the frames on the pc but an actual box set on the ground, that would be great to have for a shop...:D
5. yes, if the mobs have chance to drop something that you can use to create these lil stuffed ornaments/critters...lol
6. I wouldn't mind this, although to add to that I would also say possible enchantment on armor that allows person to cast such without wand/staff while you wear it and have an empty hand free.
7. eh. would be nice but...we will see. Either way it is better that than the beacon...
8. slimes are easy to find, especially now that they spawn at higher layers than before. being up to y40 now. can't really think of a recipe for that as it is slime...
10. I would love to see, even if the ships are small. would be interesting to see in the ocean every so often instead of more ocean or the extra island they put in at the moment and squid...O_o liven up the ocean a must.
The others I just ok with but not overly fond of...

I would really love to see cannons. This is something new that I thought of. With so many ships and castles being built, it would be cool to have cannons that shoot iron cannonballs out. We already have everything we need like gunpowder, iron, and wood. I think it would be cool. You could light it with flint and steel and then it could shoot at something and explode it like a block of tnt would.
Create coins from gold ingots but may be disabled for servers that don't want players making there own money.
And also make a slot block that will take the coin and store it for the block for the owner.
When any player puts a gold coin in sends out red stone signal.

Use paper to create editable yellow "post-it" it notes you can stick on a wall like a painting.
Use 4x paper + bone meal to make a editable, white, 2 x 2 poster-board with space for 8 lines of text.
