Colored bed is a good one I think a xray that can be used to see cave systems... A potion of double jumping would be pretty darn cool. There is thousands of ideas.
Been trying to think up a couple ideas to post to this thread and came up with a couple this morning.
1) tomatoes - wild tomatoes can't be eaten but harvesting them gives you seeds that you can plant for tomato plants which can be harvested for eatable tomatoes. Bonus idea: bring pots forward and have tomato plants only growable in pots--tomato pots in pots don't have to be replanted when you harvest them. Another bonus idea: potted tomato plants can be grown upside down making it possible to have ceiling farms.
Crafting ideas: tomatoes (eaten for half a heart of health) can be baked in the furnace for tomato sauce ( eaten for one heart of health). Tomato sauce can be combined in the crafting table with cooked pork (or beef) and bread to make Spaghetti and Meatballs (eaten for two-thirds health).
2) cave vision potion - when taken certain blocks such as stone, dirt, gravel and sand become semi transparent for a limited time. The stronger the potion, the longer you can see and the more transparent the blocks become. Other blocks do not become transparent and you can see blocks on the otherside of ones you are looking through. So with a weak potion if you are standing next to a stone wall, you can make out ores two or maybe three blocks deep while with a strong potion you can see five, six, or more blocks deep. This would be real useful for cave exploring or finding nearby hidden spaces to fill or light up.
Potion for double jump is an awesome idea. I also love the idea of horses, and having a horse to ride. Maybe riding a horse would automatically be as fast as sprinting, but without having to hit the stupid stick twice...
I'm sure this has been discussed elsewhere, but my 5-1/2 year old (and I as well) is very confused as to why we get to cook meat, but we can't cook eggs in Minecraft.
I suggest an idea for commands, since 4J probablly won't add commands in the future, but here's how I think it should work.
The commands should work by pressing down on the D-pad and it will give you the list of commands that you can click on. When you click on a command, it will give the command and you will have to enter the name into the bars where it tells you to enter.
For example, I will use the /give command:
/give _________ ___ _____ ____
You will have to choose the long bar(first bar) and click the A button and it will give the list of players that are in the game.
The second bar is the data value bar, where you will use Xbox's typing system and type in the data value number. In the How to Play area, there should be an area where that has the Data Values. It will have a picture of the item and it's data value number to type in.
The third bar is the bar where you enter the amount you want.
The fourth bar is the damage value.
That is how I think the single player commands could work for the Xbox 360. In case you don't know what some of these things are, check the links below for info.

I don't believe this idea has been posted before but if it has then forgive me for repeating. I think that when TU9 comes out there should be a way to spawn the Ender Dragon again for another battle. Not many of the mobs stand a chance against enchanted weapons and potions so that only leaves the Ender Dragon as a worthwhile enemy. Maybe if you could place the dragon's egg (assuming it is in TU9) and maybe make some sort of offering, such as diamonds or ender pearls. Then you could get the Dragon to spawn and have another epic battle. If this seems too easy to spawn then maybe add a certain number of Minecraft days before you can spawn it again. Please someone look at this idea because I really think it would be great.
- Obsidian Tools/Weapons/Armor (Works as fast as Stone Tools but lasts 3x longer than Diamond ones, and are able to mine anything/ same protection as iron armor but lasts 2x longer than diamond armor/ does as much damage as stone weapons but lasts 4x longer than diamond weapons)
- Bicycles/Rollerskates (Moves 2x faster than sprinting but you lose the ability to jump)
- Nether/Ender Animals (pigs, cows, chickens, and wolves)
- Magma Squids (swim in lava are neutral but if attacked they spit fireballs to defend themselves like river zoras from the NES Legend of Zelda)
- Ender Creepers (They suck you in, and instead of blowing up they encase you in enderstone if you touch them)
See that picture? I came across that in my hard survival world, and it was an old world so there were a lot of biome code changes to the world. This picture is of a "mushroom forest biome." Really there is no such thing, but it was a forest biome that was taken over by a mushroom biome. I saw it and I wasn't sure what biome it was hen i recognized it as mushroom because there was mooshroom. The only thing i altered the picture with was putting more mushrooms. They should add a biome like this.

Can't mooshrooms spawn in plains biomes very rarely?
I know that isn't a plains biome but... Yeah

I put my shirt on one leg at a time, just like everybody else.
- palm trees in the dessert (maybe that opens an avenue for coconuts for food)
- be able to hang a clock on the wall
- be able to hang a map on the wall as well maybe even be interactive as well
- be able to light any exposed side of nether rack
- be able filp our stairs upside down (I pay close attention to detail and this would help a lot)
Ok so adding a fermented spider eye to "corrupt" the effects of a potion of fire resistance gives you a potion of slowness... That makes no sense. Here's what makes sense: a Fire Potion.
As stated before, a Fire Potion would be made by adding a fermented spider eye to a potion of fire resistance, thus giving the opposite effect of preventing fire damage and instead causing fire damage. Drinking the potion will set you on fire, so chances are you'll wanna make a splash potion and use it as a way to light other mobs or players on fire directly, create light at a distance, or light a Nether portal. Throwing the splash potion will set the blocks near the point where it hits on fire, and the duration of the flames could be affected by adding redstone.
I have some ideas that are pretty useful that you might consider. * Craft-able Nether map * Ride-able horses for more transportation. *XP multiplier bonuses. * Upside down torches and redstone torches. Upside down redstone torches allow more power-able directions * Item transportation tubes. Items go in a dispenser and into the glass or iron tube into a chest. (Alturnative to minecart chests) * Rotational block that can either display minecraft images or just for style * Villagers Follow you with diamonds in our hand * Talk to villagers * (More types of pistons)~Longer extending pistons and sticky pistons * More Soon!
Fixes: * In creative, when you break pistons that are expanded, they don't drop a cubic piston * In creative, when breaking any other block that has the same issue such as paintings and others. IDK all them. * When sprinting, No wall suffocation
Request: * In the whats new menu where you list what was put in, please add back the fixes as well and not just the new items and features.
I think a glacial biome would be nice. One where everything is frozen with ice. This biome would have ice chasms and ice caves, as well as randomly generated structures frozen into the ice (special ones, not an npc village).
I also think we could use bigger maps. Maybe making it so that the actual world has another world of equal size on all four sides, as well as ones on the angles, making the whole new world 9 regular worlds spread into a large square? I'm tired of how small the worlds are. They get boring too quickly.
New mobs and npcs that actually were human would be cool, like villages complete with guards and kings and peasants. Especially if you could interact with them.
A Grappling Hook: (not my idea but a really good one)
Fired from the Bow with a shorter range (since its heavy).
You should NOT be able go as far as you can throuw an Ender Pearl.
Would take 4 irons, 4 strings and a stick to craft. Hooks do not stack.
In the interface it would be added with the arrows, not the tools.
Equiping the hand with the hook would load the Bow and Hook.
Launch the hook instantly with right trigger as the bow reaches full drawback.
Holding down the right trigger causes you would fly (like creative mode) to the hooks destination.
Releasing the right trigger would stop flying early allowing you to drop.
Once you grapple to a destination block, you would stand on that block,
So you can not grapple to a block only 1 space above. Grapple to a wall causes you to fall.
(unless you can grapple to another location before you hit bottom.)
Grapling works safely going up. Grapling down more than 3 blocks causes some fall damage.
You CAN grapple through a 1 x 1 hole, Lava fall, and Paintings, etc allowing access hidden rooms.

Please actually read posts before responding, so you don't end up looking stewped.
Archeology would be an excellent addition, finding tombs, and artifacts, which would also fit well with digging up dino bones, and building a museum to display all the cool finds, and more interesting stuff on the ocean floor, like sponges, seaweed, shipwrecks, treasure, coral, reefs, visible fish swimming, so underwater building would be more enticing
I LOVE this idea.

I like the ideas but they can't add the char. From other games due to the same reason for no custom skins... Legal issues.

Like an actual econamy system that works and just tells the person how much money they have. Like rupees!

Description: When off current can not pass through the Breaker or the block its attached to.
Crafting: Lever + Gold nuget
This is the most basic of basic electical devices. Why one is not already in Mincraft is very puzling.
Faster navigation of waterways. Pushes through Lily pads. Faster than running, slower than a mine cart.
Crafting: Furnace, Lever, 2 Boats.
