New ore: Steel. It can be mined, smelted and crafter with a compass/stone block to create a magnet block. It lures dropped objects towards the block.
New liquid block: Mercury. Found underground similar to lakes. Can be collected using a bucket, can be dumped out BUT it can't made into an unlimited source, it can't keep traveling forever like a waterfall, but you can take damage if touched. Can be used to "compress" ores to make ores. Similar to the furnace, but the mercury bucket will be the fuel and the top will be the "cooked item." Put that into 1 of 3 slots(depending on what ore you want to make/what materials are needed) that allow the object that will be sacrificed to make a compressed ore.
So for example, put 3 stacks of coal into the top part, it can make 3 diamonds. A half stack of iron on top and 10 coal on the side can make 1 Lazis. A stack of redstone on the top can make 7 iron ingots.
New item: Compressor. Can compress already smelted ores to make different ores. The process is explained there ^^^. Crafting recipe is like the anvil, but there is a diamond in the middle and 2 redstone on the middle left and right.

There should also be ninjas that raid the cities and kill the people at night, but the knights are stronger and save the day. They should always kill the ninjas, which are hostile. The knights themselves should be neutral. When killed, the knights should drop iron swords and iron armor. There should be hardened glass that has the same mining time as stone with fist.
I completely agree with you. Who do people think they are that they can publically call someone dumb because they may not like thier idea. This is a thread of ideas. And what is coal, but carbon? So what we need is a way to blend Iron Ingots with Coal to produce Steel! It could be as simple as placing the Iron Ingots back in the furnace with a lump of coal as fuel, to smelt it into steel.
I'd also like to see some new metal blocks that i can use to make sky scrapers, to that end I'd really like to see silver, bronze and copper added to the game in order to give us some more color options. I'd also love a gunmetal gray block that I could use to make dark support structures out of that aren't quite so black!
I think when they get around to making mods and texture pack to the xbox 360, that they should make an hd texture pack and a zombie apocalypse mod so that you have to fight zombies during the day and night, and add fast and slow zombies. Maybe even add broken down structures too.

This is a quote from the Minecraft mods wiki, the description of the better enchanting mod, and it is the exact way I feel about the current enchanting system, this really needs a COMPLETE overhaul for 360 users, how about adding enchanted books from pc 1.4.2, they spawn in the chests in the generated structures, your enchantment table will have two slots, one where you can "learn" enchantments, and one to put enchantments onto your tools, have it cost a little more xp and take time like the furnace and brewing stand, I think this would make the enchanting system better without making it too overpowered, also adding in character progression with the levels and skills like your movement speed in and out of the water, or even how many objects you get from crafting, stuff like that, better combat as well would be awesome, and take a look at the advanced movement mod that would be EPIC in the 360 version of Minecraft as well. Please 4j Please improve the enchanting system, I am tired of having to spend HOURS at a mob grinder for the xp to get an enchantment, and then when I enchant my tool I get a BS enchantment like, if I am lucky, fortune 2 for 30 xp levels, what kind of scam is the enchantment table running here.
I also think a good idea for the 360 version would be THREE options rather than only two when it comes to player restrictions, instead of friends only and friends of friends it should be open (everyone), limited (fiends of friends), semi-private (friends only), and private (invite only) that would allow us to meet new people to play Minecraft with, I do not usually have xbox live gold but I know many people that need more friends that play Minecraft because their friends either have not bought the xbox version or are total prudes and think Minecraft is gay, and (going on a random tangent due to the Jager I just drank) why does this site keep saying Minecraft is spelt wrong?
Like the nether fortress could work but I guess I was thinking more along the lines like a frozen stronghold or an Ice castle.
I would like it if there was Inuit style villagers that lived in igloos maybe when they get more populas they more of the structure could generate until its a town inside a castles walls.
Normal villages should also do that.

I'm a game where dirt floats, there are arrow shooting skeletons and a world made of blocks, I dont see why Steel shoudn't be an ore. BUT I'm still alright if it can be aquired in a different way.
I think if we can fabricate solid diamond armour out of a few odd pieces.
We should be able to make anything on a crafting table.
But I would see it as being reasonable if there was a significant armour difference between steel and iron that steel needed to be fond by different means.

You need to make better things for redstone. A whole lot dedicated to redstone "chips" In the crafting table. Like all of the logic gates, and, or, xor, flip flops, etc. Lets take a flip flop for What I'm trying to say here. normally If You build one By scratch it will take up a huge space lets just say a 5x5 ( I don't remember the exact size) And You go to the crafting table, and go through a section called " redstone chips" Under the redstone section. And We will use a flip flop with 1 input for a push botton or pressure plate and one output for this. You find the flip flop in the redstone chips and make it. Lets say chips cost a lot more to make 4 redstone torches, 2 redstone, and 3 stone blocks or what ever You prefer 4j. And You make it with the table. And instead of it taking up 5x5. It will only take up 2 spaces. the input and the output. And of course have ticks on it to choose the delay time. Or instead of making a pulse generator, a generator chip, the more You tick it the faster it sends a clock signal That will only need 1 space instead of 5x5. Or lets say a xor gate takes up about 6x8 spaces an xor gate redstone chip takes up 3 spaces 2 inputs and one output. I think this is a brilliant idea. Redstone freaks like Me will love this, It WILL Have faster response times. Like upgrading from vacuum tubes to transistors and mosfets. Like in real where You can buy chips or integrated circuits that already have, gates, flip flops, etc integrated into them. Like the 4013, it has 2 d flip flops and 8 pins for 2 flip flops. If You built this out with components You will use lots of, transistors, mosfets, capacitors, diodes, etc. But I think You understand what I'm saying. I want a lot of feed back with this. If You like this. Lets get it to 4j and demand this. People that make circuits in real life will understand why this is so practical. But let's start out small like a small update with just a couple things. flip flops and gates. Then if everyone likes it, go bigger. Full working 9 input latch codes things. for code locks. adders, etc. I love this idea. As an electrical engineer in real life. to a redstone freak in minecraft. lets make this happen My fellow minecrafters. We don't get mods like pc does. So We can't use redpower.
I hatched another idea besides the redstone chips. Lets say after every rain, a rainbow spawns. It's is there for a certain time. And If You can get get to the end of the rainbow in time there is a chest with gold ingots. lets say 20 ingots since it takes forever for it to rain.
I think that binoculars would be cool to put in Minevraft Xbox 360 Edition. You would need glass for the lenses and either stone or iron for the...frame I guess. Binoculars would fit under the "Tools and Weapons" tab/ section.ZOMBIECRAFT!!! THAT WOULD BE AWESOME IN MINECRAFT FOR XBOX 360!!!

If they made steel an ore, do you know how stupid that would make 4J Studios look? A suggestion now is that they should add a damage sound that would make sense to what skin you are using. Like if you were using zombie and another player punched you, it should sound like a zombie got punched by a player. If you were using a sheepman skin, it would sound like you punched a sheep. Also, it would be cool if they gave all of the Steve skins the old damage sound before the 1.8.2 update came out.
I think they should Implement a hot-fix like system, to quickly and easily fix bugs and add the ability to add select-able mods to the game so 4j doesn't have to spend the ridiculous amount of money for a xbox 360 title update.
"Slime Glue". You apply 1 slime ball to any block of your choice, and stick it to another block. This "Slime Glue" would be a good use for dealing with pistons pushing 2 blocks, and pulling BOTH blocks back without leaving the one block (block that is not attached to sticky side of sticky piston) floating.
