I see that many people want Crystals from "tekkit" I simply want to say that those crystals are from Thaumcraft, I think this mod on the 360 would be EPIC, however, I feel that it distracts from the whole "survival" aspect of the game.
something similar to the tents from CampCraft would be cool, and they also fit well into the survival aspect, and they cater to multiplayer as well with three different sized tents, one with one bed, one with 2 and the biggest has 4, also I think if 4j were to simply ask them, I am sure many mod creators would allow them to use their mods in the 360 version, they could do a 360 exclusive mod pack or two, even, a technical pack for people who want technological advancements and a survival pack for people who want more of a challenge from survival mode,
Also Railcraft would be a good addition to it as well if not in full, then the ability to link mine carts together to form trains, and the elevator track to allow mine carts to go straight up and down
I think that there should be temples that are hard to find as in there's a trap door in a village or something and there would be booby traps that would either hurt you severely or even kill you if they're not moved through correctly or disarmed and the reward would be a few diamonds or something worth the time. Also they should add new ores I'm tired of the same old.
Definitely add more ores like jade, amethyst, ruby, and a bunch of others, pickaxes, and other tools for each ore, and swords of healing, which you can mark certain people as allies, and when you hit them or a mob, it heals them, except monsters, it damages them. Mailboxes, and writable paper, that can be put in mailboxes. Quests like a memory chip scattered all over the world. They are 20 chips, and when you find one, it can be in a dungeon, or whatever, and shares a chest with valuables and the chip leads to the coordinates of the next chip. Vacuum tube computers with email would be cool. To craft large objects like guns, computers, etc, you should have to make an industrial crafting table which can craft massive things.

Thesekind of exist on PC, so it wouldn't be exclusive to Xbox, and the fan base seems pretty divided on whether their inclusion would be for better or worse. The only downside I could see involves limited map space and "clutter" from multiple overworld structures

Without the skin... Beneath the storm... Under these tears...The walls came down
I want to be able to let my dogs free roam around my village or in my house without me having to be there. I feel bad leaving my dogs to sit in my house forever.

I think if you breed some wild wolfs and trap them in your home they will just roam around.
Just don't hit them though. Can anybody back this up?

I put my shirt on one leg at a time, just like everybody else.
An option to turn on aurora borealis in taiga and tundra(that is if they were not removed) biomes, and an option to turn them on all over the world. That would make fireworks look like crap without even consuming resources.
New ore: Steel. It can be mined, smelted and crafter with a compass/stone block to create a magnet block. It lures dropped objects towards the block.
New liquid block: Mercury. Found underground similar to lakes. Can be collected using a bucket, can be dumped out BUT it can't made into an unlimited source, it can't keep traveling forever like a waterfall, but you can take damage if touched. Can be used to "compress" ores to make ores. Similar to the furnace, but the mercury bucket will be the fuel and the top will be the "cooked item." Put that into 1 of 3 slots(depending on what ore you want to make/what materials are needed) that allow the object that will be sacrificed to make a compressed ore.
So for example, put 3 stacks of coal into the top part, it can make 3 diamonds. A half stack of iron on top and 10 coal on the side can make 1 Lazis. A stack of redstone on the top can make 7 iron ingots.
New item: Compressor. Can compress already smelted ores to make different ores. The process is explained there ^^^. Crafting recipe is like the anvil, but there is a diamond in the middle and 2 redstone on the middle left and right.
Just plain dumb? Wow didn't think there were trolls here. I figured this would be a nice place to suggest ideas, not to get trolled. Seriously though, a lot of these ideas I have seen mods for already. I was just trying to give my opinion to solutions of problems that I have encountered in my game. And secondly I'm sorry that I haven't "repeatedly" heard that they were going to put them in after the 1.2.6 update. I was simply making a statement do to the fact that its been out since May 9th and last I've seen the PC version isn't slowing down. The Xbox version is slowing down cause of bugs, which is understandable. So to come to a conclusion, I have enough respect for others to not insult their ideas no matter how "dumb" they sound because a dumb idea can lead to a strike of genius.
Oh, some absolutely brilliant stuff can come from dumb ideas though. Most people can't just spout out one brilliant thought from scratch, they need to express it, work at it and then polish it until it shines. That's kinda the purpose of threads like this, to act as an idea sifter. Dump out the ideas, people discuss and refine them, and hopefully over time transform some of the ideas to something useful and/or cool. Just don't expect all or even most of them to make it.
Omg bears and bear traps would be awesome.
The spikes could also be put at the bottom of Pitts and on pistons.
I like the sound of ice fortresses are you thinking like nether fortresses or something entirely different?
Like the nether fortress could work but I guess I was thinking more along the lines like a frozen stronghold or an Ice castle.
Probably already said before, but I would love to be able to save the world using the Cloud save file, and then be able to allow chosen friends to access the same save file. If a friend is already playing in that world, you wouldn't have the option to load the save from the cloud, you would have to join the world in use. I don't know... just a thought.
My friends would love to play, but they are weary of starting a world in which I'm host. I game every night, but sometimes I will get hooked on a different game for a week before getting back to Minecraft. They don't want to have to wait until I feel like playing Minecraft again. (and they can only play a few nights a week, so it only makes sense that I be host)
But as I said, this has probably already been mentioned with a response as to why it can't be done.
I know, it's what I said. Thank you for reiterating it, but I'm pretty sure it's your matter of opinion if you think one of my ideas are dumb. Which you are entitled to. Yet I digress, I don't see any "dumb" ideas I see brilliant starts. Like Bear traps it's an awesome idea as well as cloud saves, and if it were up to me 90% of them would be in the game, unfortunately the other 10% need polishing and some more thought. In a world where there are infinite possibilities we shouldn't over look an idea cause some think its "dumb"
I would also like to use this opportunity to throw out a few more ideas
1. Wallpaper textures for added customization of rooms
2. A more diverse color selection for wools (I like many others use wool for carpet)
3. Redstone powered jute boxes (so tracks can continuously play while in the vicinity as well as switch activated)
4. Obsidian armor and weapons
5. Accessible bookshelves (For the books you write)
6. Pistons that can are able to be toggled to different lengths
7. More pets like dragons, or mini creepers.
8. Two-handed swords
9. Spells
10. Hoods, and robes
11. A wall mountable clock (utilizing the in game clock)
12. Sieges on players castles (zombie bum rush)
13. Lastly (I like the flashlight idea) Lanterns that can be held
I completely agree with you. Who do people think they are that they can publically call someone dumb because they may not like thier idea. This is a thread of ideas. If no "dumb" ideas were ever posted how would anything ever get done. Keep posting those "dumb" ideas and if someone has a problem with it they should not be reading a thread about ideas.

I may just have to do that. I've also been wanting a population fo dogs that just roam around my walled off village!
Other than in the tutorial I still haven't bred dogs or even had one yet because my last world was 100% tundra.
