Me and my friends think horses would be really helpfull.
And also oxygen tanks for going underwater ( I would love to build underwater without having to surface for air constantly)
Maybe some different animals like bears and deer.
Sculpters of the different monsters in the worlds so ppl can show off trophies or for deco.
Different color beds. (I'm not a fan of red)
And I was also thinking of a mini block that could help with more details to building houses or something.
I would love to be able to add POI's to my map. Find a cave, mark it on the map and come back later to explore. and when you're done, mark it off the map. I always find cool stuff while I'm out exploring but then I can't find it when I come back later.

Yes, they should make markers!
Great idea! Same problem happens
with me as well lol.
I think that Scuba Diving gear would be awesome! Pure underwater house for the win.
I think Groundhogs would be a cool addition to the game. They can be annoying by making holes in the ground randomly. But they can only go through dirt, sand and maybe gravel. I don't what they drop though. But it should be valuable.
Backpacks would be cool. It would function like two chests.
I think lit torches would be cool too. You would need a torch and flint and steel to make a Lit Torch. It would work just like a normal coal torch except you don't have to place it on anything. You just have to hold it in your hand.
Okay, so this is less an item and more an action, but I know it could be used in a LOT of ways that would really help with aesthetics.
Bear with me:
In my Modern style house, I have a large glass front entrance. I HATE to lame-ify my entrance by adding plain old doors. I would MUCH rather have a nice glass 2x2 retractable door.
"Oh, Taco, there are HUNDREDS of retractable door designs, just find one on YouTube and copy it", you say.
There are NONE where all the mechanics are hidden BENEATH the door. They all require blocks/redstone/pistons/etc to the right and left and/or above the door. What's the point of a nice clean glass front if I have a bunch of mechanical bits all around it to make the door work?
(You're welcome to look, I have spend HOURS on YouTube searching for a 2x2 door that operates vertically from below. There are NONE)
"Well how could you solve this awful problem?"
Sticking blocks together!!!!
If I could simply use a sticky glob and 2 blocks of glass, I could use 2 double piston extenders beneath them and make my door AWESOME.
I could see it either being a crafting action (you choose from whichever blocks you want to join, plus a slimeball) or have it work similarly to redstone (place a block, place a slimeball, place "stuck" block on top).
I have been thinking about the handheld torch idea, and
thought that this may produce a lot of lag. Only because
of how the lighting system works, maybe light cannot move
at the speed of the player and maybe it's meant to be still.
Would be a great addition though. Somebody can tell me
if this is wrong, it was just an idea, so don't go crazy and
all caps lock on my ass, lol.
How about we get what it needs, before we start talking about what we want?
Anyways, certain things such as a jetpack (requiring redstone), themes for the crafting layout menu,
an in-game skin creator, and colored glass would be killer

yep. We definitely NEED jetpacks and colored glass..?

Yes! Thats exactly what I was talking about earlier in this thread. We need glue and could make it out of slime. I want it for castle gates and drawbridges.

even carry an assortment of items you place on it, like a caravan.
And I think firearms would be pretty sweet, hunting rifles, pistols,
shotguns, etc. And there is already Iron and Gunpowder in the
game, so why not?
Great idea! Same problem happens
with me as well lol.
