New mobs: miners, unicorns, assassins, travelers, chain knights, parrots, pirates, Lost Captain, and bears.
Miners: They spawn in ravines and near strongholds. They are passive, but when you mine any ore 10 blocks away from them, they will chase and try to kill you. If you are holding a diamond in your hand 5 blocks away from them, they will chase and try to kill you. Their attack damage is 4 hearts. So be careful of them! WARNING: If they kill you, they will take everything you had, so you can't get it back. They have 10 hearts. They spawn in groups up to 5. They drop used iron picks. They rarely drop iron.
Unicorns: They are rare just as much as diamonds. They only spawn at least 60 blocks away from you. You can only see it, because if you see it on your screen, you have 3 seconds to look at it before it disappears. If you try to shoot it with a bow, it will disappear. They spawn alone.
Assassins: They will hunt and try to kill you and anything that is a mob. They are immune to everything BUT you.. Rarely as lapis, they spawn in strongholds. The scary part is that they CAN break blocks. They have 20 hearts. They deal 1 and a half hearts of damage. They spawn to groups up to 2. They may kill you in ANY way. They have no drops.
Travelers: They spawn alone. They only have 10 hearts. The travelers have a house. Travelers do not wander around the world. They only wander 50 blocks away from their house (including underground.) They may break blocks. If you build 50 blocks away from your house, they have permission to destroy it. They will also raid chests 50 blocks away from them. Some travelers are hostile, while others are neutral, but hostile mobs will try to kill them. If you attack them (or they attack you,) they will hold either a sword or bow. They drop steak, iron swords, arrows, and bows. If you go to their house, they will try to kill you. They deal 3 hearts of damage.
Chain knights: They will spawn everywhere when rain comes. They have 5 hearts and full armour. They spawn in groups up to 8. Some groups are hostile to you, while others are passive. you may trade with the passive ones. All chain knights will fight pirates. If they find a village, they will protect it for only 2 minecraft days. They drop chain armour.
Parrots: They spawn only in forests and jungles (once it updates.) They just fly around, giving minecraft a living look. They drop nothing. They spawn in groups up to 10. They also talk, but the only thing they say is "4j is awesome!" and "look, diamonds! heh, heh."
They have 1 heart.
Pirates: These merciless mobs only spawn in ships. They are hostile. They spawn in groups up to 20, so be ready when they start heading your way. If you wear a Captain's hat, they will be passive. They have 10 hearts. Pirates drop gold nuggets, gunpowder, and melon slices. They rarely drop non-used flintlock pistols. They deal damage up to 2 hearts, but they are close-combat.
Lost captain:THIS IS A BOSS MOB!!! This mob looks like a pirate, except it has a Captain's hat on it's head. It is neutral. It deals 5 hearts of damage. It spawn alone, in deserts or mushroom biomes. It drops a Captain's hat. However, if you give him 1 diamond, it will never attack you, even if you hit him. He will also give you his Captain's hat. It has 50 hearts.
Bears: They are neutral. They have 15 hearts. They drop bear meat. They spawn in groups up to 4 in forests. They share the same
trait with wolfs and zombie pigmen. They deal 3 hearts of damage.
New stuctures: Traveler's house, and ships.
Traveler's house: this structure can be formed in any way 4j studios wants them to be. inside is a bed, crafting table, 3 furnaces, and 2 large chests. Inside the chests can be iron picks, diamond swords, or porkchops. Rarely, there can be obsidian inside there. The limit there can be in the world is 3
Ships: Basically, they are big wooden ships that travel around ocean biomes. They move as much as a zombie, so you can climb on the ship. There can be no more than 2 ships in the world at one time. To stop the ship you will need to go on the driver's wheel and press LT while pointing at it. You can place any block even on the ship when it is stopped. When the whole ship is destroyed, another one will spawn somewhere else. Also, you must destroy every block from the ship to let another spawn. If you place a gravity affected block, it will move to the direction opposite to the direction the ship is going until a wall stops it. When you go to the basement of the ship, there are multiple chests around, there may be gunpowder, gold, and redstone. There Is only 1 diamond sword in the ship, but it is half used.If you have a captain's hat on you, you may drive the whole ship. If you still have your captain's hat on, and you find a group of chain knights at land, the ship's cannons will try to aim and fire at the knights.
New items: Flintlock pistol, cannonball, and captain's hat.
Flintlock pistol: It is like a bow, except it is much stronger but doesn't last long. It deals 5 hearts of damage. You need cannonballs to fire it. It may fire up to 128 balls. The crafting recipe is 3 iron, one spruce wood, and 1 gunpowder.
Cannon ball: it is the arrow of the flintlock pistol. The crafting recipe is 1 cobblestone and 1 gunpowder. That recipe will make 2 cannonballs.
Captain's hat: It is an item that cannot be crafted. If you wear this, all pirates will ignore you, but all chain knights will hunt you down.
I will try to think of more, hope you send this to 4j!
Ok, so i've posted about adding in more types of craftable, and growable foods. (Most recently was actually in this very thread right here --> http://www.minecraft...0#entry19592080)
Last night as i was struggling to sleep, which i often do, i came up with a great idea. A lot of these foods require a way of cooking them, but coal is already used for so much that these new foods may end up further taxing our limited supplies. So what we really need is a new type of crafting table that only makes food. To this end, I'd like to suggest the addition of a stove! You'd build your stove at a crafting table using 6 Iron ore (I), 1 obsidium block (O), a bit of redstone ®, and a flint and steel (F), arranged as so!
(I)(O)(I)
(I)®(I)
(I)(F)(I)
I'd imagine that the stove would have white sides that resemble an Iron Block with a window sort of painted on it and the top would have four black circles that resemble burners!
The stove would only be used to make complex newer foods (That way people won't die of starvation before managing to find flint or obsidium, though I'd argue that cakes and cookies should be retconned into requiring the stove to make)
Perhaps additional incentive could be added to the device to encourage using it to make all foods by allowing it to increase the yield of crafted foods. 3 wheat could make 2 loaves of bread if crafted in the stove, as an example.
I think this device would be a very nice addition and would look wonderful in any building with a mock kitchen, meshing very well with the post I linked about additional vegetables to be grown on farms and the new foods we could make with them!
If i may also add in another suggestion, I'd also love to see more placeable foods similar to the cake! It'd be cool if we could place a whole table of foods, chicken, a bowl of apples, bowls of stew, glasses of water or milk, a few loaves of bread, maybe even the burgers i mentioned before!
Also, not sure if Pumpkin Pie is going to be added to our games or not, but I'd love to see them soon! I've been growing a field of pumpkins ever since seeds were added, but I don't really like to use jack-o-lanterns as a light source as I find glowstone to be more aesthetically pleasing especially at night!
Instead of mods, cant they make these random DLC packs that are made weekly, and they should have their own little game add-ons. These could add more mobs, more achivements, and more blocks.
They should let the community make DLCs and skins, but sell them on the Xbox marketplace. It would be similar to the indie game area, but with add-ons.

That could be fun, too! If they gave the game an interface to turn some of the mini-mods on or off you could really start customizing your game. I could really get behind something like that. I wouldn't even mind paying for them so long as they aren't too much more expensive than skin packs!
Mossy Cobblestone: 1 cobble and 1 vine.

Humans: Neutral. Can spawn anywhere. Spawn in groups of 7-10
This might be a little bit challenging for 4JSTUDIOS and The PLAYERS...i think you should add all the mods that are part of the FTB (Feed The Beast) mod pack into the Minecraft Xbox and add an option to enable and disable the uses of them before and after creating a world. ALL the mods inside the FTB mod pack are challenging and controlled so that the PLAYERS dont go all "OVER POWER" and lose the meaning of the game but it is still fun to play around with things like this and thank you if you add this into minecraft.

I think it would be really convenient to be able to move multiple items in inventory or chests as a group. Maybe if your looking at the items if you hold left trigger and then select the items it highlights them green or something and lt lets you move them as a group? It would make organizing my chests and whatnot much easier and faster than selecting each item individually and moving it .
Would the add of triangular blocks ever be considered, it would make it easy to construct smoother corners as well as ramps. Just a thought.
SQUARES THINK SQUARES, get this triangle nonsense out of u, next thing u know u are probable gonna want circles to, THERE ARE NO CIRCLES IN MINECRAFT. there. now that i got that out of me, do u mean a pyramid type block or a ramp type block(same as stairs basically)?

You do know that after we get title update 8, which id PC 1.2.3, the two editions will not be cross platform and Xbox will have it's own stuff.
Actually, I think that they should do something different with the end. They should make it a modified version of the aether, rather than that shi**y, barren end that is on PC. That would definitely be a superiority over PC. Maybe instead of stone, give it end stone. They should add stackable splash potions, and Molotov cocktails, which cause fire. There should be hang able maps on the wall. There should be jellyfish that are passive, but damage the player if bumped into, and you can punch them to kill them. There should be a generated structure that is a volcano, which doesn't blow it's top, but just pours lava all over the landscape.
where'd you hear about the title update 8 thing? Also, maps are technically able to be hung on the wall in pc edition with item frames, so they'd most likely basically do the same thing for xbox edition. and if Mojang really wanted to do these things don't you think they would've added them in already? or at least hinted them?

The whole reason I made this thread was because 4J (not mojang) hinted towards exclusive content. This is for the people who want to share their ideas with 4J about exclusive features, so if you want to vent, do so in your own thread.

title update 8 was announced on twitter by 4j
I also have a few ideas a npc villger locator or even a generated stuture locator and igloos with snow golems in side
A "Weather Tool" in creative mode would be great, where you could control the weather of certain areas of your map, for example, switch snow on/off in a certain area, etc.
My old world had no snow at all when I created it and now 70% of my map is covered in snow. I have rain in my desert, snow in my forest and in my swamp, and the ocean is freezing.
I wouldn't mind using creative to change the weather, and many of my friends would not neither. I've put a lot of effort in the map, as well as some of my friends in their worlds, it would be a shame if we lost our maps to bad weather changes that happen within every new update.
I know most people here agree with the idea of creating a new world. I would create a new world too, but with new updates weather will continue to change again and again. With this tool we could "fix" the weather in our worlds.
Oh and by the way I'm not complaning about the update. It's a great update and I want 4J to keep up their good work, Minecraft Xbox is getting better with every new update, but if possible, this tool would help a lot
I would like to see animal armor that could give you different abilities like a bunny suit will give you the ability to jump high or run faster, a bear suit will give you more power and even a fish suit could give you the ability to swim faster(just throwing ideas out the top of my head)

Endric sword: Cannot be crafted. 10-11% of being dropped by an
Enderdragon, 1% chance of being dropped by an Enderman.
-Has infinite durabillity, 60% more powerful than a diamond sword. triple knockback, and if the player hits a mod/other player, they will slow down 30% for 5-10 seconds.
where'd you hear about the title update 8 thing?

Retired StaffMy old world had no snow at all when I created it and now 70% of my map is covered in snow.
