When Minecraft came out on 360 I was so happy as I have been waiting to play it for years but did not want to play it on PC. The day it came out I got it and have been building in it but was sad to see that when the updates came out the world I started would not get the new biomes, abandoned mine shafts, strongholds, npc villages and other new items, yes I know I can go into creative mode but I play on normal and do not want to start a new world because I would lose all the things I have made. While I love playing Minecraft on the 360 it is also limited in size, height for is a problem as some of my projects have been put on hold because they would not fit also the world over all is not that big and to make matters worse when you get near the edge of the map the game starts to get buggy. I know that Xbox 360 is limited hardware wise so here are some suggestions to over come that problems.
Biome Portals: Just like the portal to the nether but they would bring you to other biome worlds. You would make the portals out of other blocks types, lets say your world "like mine" has no ice plains you could use lets say just as an example iron blocks to make the portal and it would bring you to a ice plain biome world.
NPC Block Trader: Have a npc spawn in the world when you build his shop that would trade one block type for any other, as an example would be a stack of 64 cobblestone for 1 gold block. This would help in my world as I do not have any ice so would be able to trade for it again as an example 5 dirt for 1 ice block.
New World Portals: A portal that goes to a new generated world so you could get items and biomes not found in your world, as an example the portal could be made out of gold blocks and each one you make would bring you to a new generated world. New world portals could also ask you for a name and seed code.
Here are other suggestions, for frames, how about letting us pick the size of the frame we and to make. One block, 2 vertical, 2 block horizontal, 4 block, 6 block and 8 block or just a easy way to scroll the pictures without having to keep taking down the frame as most of the time it just keep putting up the same few pictures over and over again.
Camera: Be able to craft a in game camera to take photos of things in the world and put into frames, so I could take a photo of that creeper looking into my house just waiting for me to come outside so he can ruin my day lol.
Well then... that's pretty... good...
If they did add that, then it would be a really good thing to need a password for it. Minecraft is that simple game, though, not Call of Minecraft.
I'm not saying add it into the game, just an optional DLC
A new world generation that does not generate the same blocks or structures, but generates a space-like scene and you can see other planets in the sky. There should be two mobs, an alien that spawns on bases on the space world generation, and keeps to themselves unless provoked, and an alien that attach the player. Vault chests would be nice. I thought while I was playing Borderlands 2 today, they should make the ability for players to portal between worlds Borderlands style. Meaning you go to the border of the world and it loads and portals players to the next world. Hey, is 4J still reading this, or did they just post that one time to get our hopes up, and they really don't care?Yes I did just make the font different and all that just to get there attention if they are browsing through this forum.
Okay, fellow Minecraft Xbox 360 players, This post is to tell all of you why we need to post ideas. We all know that the PC edition is one and a half years ahead of us. I honestly don't think that is fair to the console gamers that either hate PC gaming, or just aren't willing to shell out 1000 dollars for a computer that can't run it any better than the Xbox 360 can. I know that there are many people that agree with my statement. Using our ideas, we should be able to make the PC now look like total bulls**t. We need to keep posting ideas, so that after TU8 comes out, our version will take a separate path than what the PC took. I see some really good ideas on this forum. If some are added into the game, they will make it better than PC. If 4J Studios is not reading this post, we will need to get there attention through twitter. https://twitter.com/4JStudios That is the link, if you are unaware, or have just not followed 4J yet. If we can get a couple hundred tweets to them, all saying the exact same thing about this thread, and the link to this thread, they will give and read our ideas and make 1.4.4 on PC look like garbage. I hope you all see logic in this post, and I hope you all help to make PC look like trash, and make the PC gamers look stupid for ever judging the 360 edition as poor. All contributions are helpful. If you think I am right, please respond Porkchopz. Sorry all of my three posts are not one, I intended it to be that way, but forgot.
I was eavesdropping in science class today, when I thought abut some things you could add under ground.
Fossils and skeletons, which are a slightly rare occurance, and can be mined with the most pointless tool (to me), the hoe. You can use them to make bone meal, or use them as decorations.
That also brings me to the idea of display cases.
Sulfur underground, basically the same as gunpowder, so you can use them as an ingredient for TNT, but make sulfur TNT a little stronger than normal TNT!
I tweeted them, I told them the fans sent me. Hope it helped
Thank you porkchopz, the more people we can tell to tweet them, the more likely they will implement in our ideas after TU8. That reminds me, I should tweet them myself.
Have you ever had to make a huge building with long walls and corridors and what have you, to find that instead of a room that you intended to be 19x19 be 16x16, for example? Well, I think I have a solution that definitely needs tweaking but would be nice to have. My solution is to have a floating number that appears beside a line of blocks that counts the number of blocks in that line. I think it would be pretty neat, especially if you could select the start and end block ( like the two blocks on each end ) or toggle the number on and off. I would definitely see myself using this , but I just may be a terrible counter.
I would like to see the note block range in Minecraft increased to 47, to match the PC. I know it's not something that would be unique to the 360 version, but I'm pretty sure the note block range should be 47 at this point. I feel like it's something they missed. It's possible they just don't want to have such a high sound range, but it would be nice if it was confirmed.
When the skin animations are added, I hope we have an option to toggle them on and off. 4J has confirmed on twitter that one of the skins has an idle animation, I wonder if all the skins (or a large number) will have idle animations as well. It would be awesome to be able to toggle these on and off, or maybe even choose your idle animation.

Another idea I have would probably be too hard or spacey to implement. I would like an option to choose which version of map generation you want. Personally, I like the old map generation better than the new one. They could make it so the only way you can do this is to include certain characters in a world seed.
Lastly, I think it would be awesome if weather didn't effect the whole map at once. It's awkward when one biome is snowing, then the one right next to it is raining.

Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to eat for lunch.
What about time zones? This would probably mess up the sleeping system, but what if on one side of the map ii was night and on the other it was day? That would be interesting, but again, that would be very confusing.
the other day i was working on a modern style mansion (w/ giant brown mushrooms for floor and roof, just to be different) and it hit me, what if you could hook up multiple jukeboxes together w/ redstone, so when you put a disc in one, the song plays through all of them connected. It would also have a practical use in an adventure map, so the host can hit a button and the jukeboxes would all play, setting up some "mood music" and add another depth to the whole map; or even in survival it could be used as a sort of warning system if people are inside a mine, and a player on top needs to get them up out of the mine (very useful for those who have Mic's that don't work).
I love that in the original post the landmark thing is posted, since that's one thing I would have said. I've thought it a MILLION times...we NEED landmark recognition...like to put flags on our maps for locs we need to get quick access to.
Also I would like to see something for the file sharing/uploading for maps...but have it different than the PC one, something more of a community Arcade area where you can buy/sell/trade maps with one another (by buy I don't mean buy...I mean download). That'd be amazing.
Torch Gun or Torch Arrow like someone else brought up, for those pesky in ground ravines. Just go torch crazy. So you can see the real extent of the massive in ground structures.

Check it out for awesome tutorials and constant content!
If they add all of the ores in a post from a long time ago, you will see that I requested a bunch of new ores. Each ore should have different pros and cons. Like here is an example with swords, a sapphire sword should deal the second most damage, only second to a diamond sword, but it breaks the fastest. Tin swords should not have any special qualities other than they are most likely to deal critical hits. These are just examples. Maybe ruby should have the best enchantments, and wood should be able to be used as fuel, I dunno. Also for pickaxes, there should be tool customization tables, and that is where you can take an emerald pickaxe and give it diamond tips. This would be a good way to combine powers. Maybe emerald can only mine up to iron, and mines the slowest but it has the most uses, maybe giving it diamond tips would allow it to mine anything, but keep it's durability powers. If they add the blood and guns pack I recommended before, they should be a sentry turret that is a block, and depending on what kind of weapon you put into it, it determines the kind of rounds it can fire. For example, if you put a bow into it, it fires arrows, of course only arrows put into it. If you put a SMG into it, it can fire SMG rounds. You should be able to tell it what to shoot at. If you are protective over your garden or your bomb hanger, you can put one with a sniper rifle into it, and those should be as damaging as a diamond sword, so it instantly kills all passive mobs, and it takes two shots to kill a player. You can tell it to shoot at players but not at passive mobs or hostile mobs, or you can tell it to fire only at hostile mobs.

That would be a while before we get servers.
I would love building to a christmas song.
